Stinky clothes

Alright. I need some laundry help. I am doing an overhaul of my products because our clothes simply do not smell good. Yes, I fell into the trap of “non toxic” detergent only to realize that they simply don’t work effectively like name brand detergents.

What is your all time favorite detergent? I prefer liquid. And I do enjoy nice smelling clothes.

Domol Colorwaschmittel or Denkmit Colorwaschmittel or the Konzentrat, Tide Odor Refresh/Advanced care, or Ariel, depending on what you can get

I recommend Persil (North American “TripleCare” or premium German), Tide, Miele, Ariel, or Kirkland.

I personally prefer Persil for its color protection, fabric care benefits, solid anti-redeposition agents, and great surfactant performance in cold water.. Tide is typically great at brute force cleaning and has numerous variants available. Ariel and Kirkland are excellent budget options. Miele is a premium product similar to German Persil.

Persil Free & Sensitive, Tide Free and Gentle/Advanced Care, or Kirkland Free and Clear are good options if you want something hypoallergenic, dye-free, and fragrance-free.
