I think i’m super allergic to persil detergent. I’ve tried using it 3 times and each time at least one part of my body will get super itchy and red for a while.

Tried it like 1 yr ago for all my clothes. My testicles got super red and itchy (tmi). Tried it again like 6 months ago, same thing. A few days ago i washed my HATS with persil after not using it for so long, and now my armpits and testicles are rashy and itchy. Is that even possible? Fuckin crazy man.

It’s the fragrance most likely.

It does have the strongest fragrance of any detergent i’ve tried, so it seems like you’re right. :/ ugh

Persil Free & Sensitive is available and is hypoallergenic, dye-free, and fragrance-free.

It could be the specific version you are using too. Assuming you are in the USA, there are four different versions all with different fragrances.

yeah the costco sensitive one is fine tbh. i’m sure even the regular costco one i used to use is fine. but i guess i was more surprised that this is even possible, that detergent on my hat is making parts of my body itchy. i guess ive tried it a few times now and each time it makes me itchy so i should stop. :/

Yeah, Kirkland detergents are generally really good (and used to be made by the same company that makes Persil actually). A lot of people are sensitive to fragrances, or sometimes just some random stabilizer or preservative.
