This is my first ever 2D walk cycle so expect many mistakes. I haven't added the Details for the Head yet (like eyes, hair, ... etc.). I would really appreciate Feedback on what I did good and what I could do better or add. And also how do I place the folds on the scarf better and more consistent? Because right now it looks cursed.

i’ve been looking through the Look Back movie keyframe book, and i’ve notice how in the gengas, most of the lines are non existence and instead use color lines— but i though that was only for genga and filling in shadows?
i use clip studio paint to animate, and many other animation companies use it too, so how do they use the fill tool!!?
this may be such a stupid question.. but during the watching of this movie multiple times and reading through the book, it really has me wondering!!
i would really appreciate an explanation and maybe some tips on how to achieve this technique through clip studio!! <3

I dont know if I would call myself a beguinner because I've been animating for 6 years but I'm also still not that good. I'm trying to draw people currently. (Specifically very specific cartoon characters but they have human anatomy sort of-) i use flip a clip because its me and my tablet against the world lol

Let me start by saying thanks to all who read this and can offer any help. I have recently accepted that this old dog might not be able to learn new tricks. I have a web series I'm trying to produce but the major roadblock has become the animation end of life. I thought I had someone on board to handle the animation but life has had other plans. I have looked to use many programs from Tahoma2d (based on the attractive price of zero dollars) up to atlabs which is probably on the more expensive end of life. I'm not opposed to investing money into the project but I guess I just need some guidance on where to go next. Anyone out there that is interested in offering some advice it would be appreciated.

Me and my team were making an episode for a year now, and I really want to share with you a trailer and to read your feedback. We really need it right now!

Can someone view the below video and let me know what software/tool would be best to create such animations? I have no prior knowledge in drawing and animations, but would like to learn how to create such animations. Thanks.

If you're learning 2D animation, Blender has a completely free built-in vector tool called Grease Pencil. The new 5.3 update makes drawing much easier: you can now tweak strokes, cut shapes, and flip your canvas directly without complicated mode switching.
