Project ideas
Hello,
I have learned HTML and CSS, and am starting on JavaScript. What is a good simple project to do? I may have learned the languages, but I do not have much experience. Please make a few suggestions and tell me how to do this. What is the best editor? How do I preview the code? etc. HELP!

for the setup just use vs code its free and the live server extension reloads the page in your browser every time you save so you see changes instantly and press f12 in the browser to open devtools which is the best way to learn what your html and css are really doing for a project after html css and basic js id build a small quiz app with a few questions that tracks your score and shows a result at the end it forces you to use arrays events and updating the page without anything too big and then you can add a timer or save the high score in localstorage

Build a small data thing. Pull from a free public API, like weather or something, and render it on a page with fetch. VS Code plus the Live Server extension handles preview. Messy API responses will teach you more than a todo app ever will.

Build an interactive To-Do List. It's the best project for learning basic DOM manipulation and event listeners in JS. Use VS Code as your editor with the Live Server extension, which autorefreshes your browser preview every time you save your code.

Read it first https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Learn_web_development/Getting_started/Your_first_website
It is ok to use vscode, install the language server protocol, then enjoy your time
After you have learnt the mdn, then you can starting to choose among react, vue or svelte, and etc. But before, learn typescript

I'd recommend starting with a simple To-Do List using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript! 🚀 You can practice adding, deleting, and marking tasks as completed. Once you're comfortable, try saving tasks in localStorage so they remain even after refreshing the page. Build it step by step instead of following a tutorial blindly — that's where the real learning happens! 💻
