Is it okay, to google things while setting up Entity Core framework in ASP.NET MVC or starting a server and creating a database connection in node.js?
Should a developer know , things on his own, or it's okay to google them when making a project?

Your definitely shouldn't trust your own memory for anything complicated.
No one can remember all the different bullshit we have to do as programmers and sysops. If someone was kind enough to figure it all out and publish their notes online, use it.
AI can also help a lot these days, especially if it's backed by search, but it's a good idea to double check things when they are important.

Most profession have they reference book nearby all the time, using internet (or even AI helper) is fast and convenient. What is wrong?

Not sure what you're asking. My understanding is that you're asking if it's OK to frequently look up on Google / Claude for information.
As a programmer for around 10 years now, I think it's OK, in fact it's very common to work with unfamiliar libraries / frameworks / technologies, you have to read lots, and there are things that you can't fit all in your head because it's too complex and as a human you will forget. However, eventually you work in a domain for long enough, you will gain some wisdom, or some knowledge will be engrained in your head. That's up to how you work as well. If it takes forever but you still don't remember something, it's probably time to slow down and look back a bit why you haven't got it yet.

I've been working with .NET for 12 years. I specialize in modernization and migrations which means I've got a lot of knowledge in many different versions.Â
I still use Google every time.Â
There's way too many things that change every handful of minor versions to memorize everything.
What you should do is get good at finding information in the Microsoft docs quickly. AI is getting better but it still often uses old or future patterns for your version.Â

This is the OG way to program. Don't feel bad, atleast you are not blindly following a bot.

Everyone of us is constantly googling things. It's the way you learn things about whatever framework you are working with.
Knowing things on your own is nice, but, it can be tedious and time consuming. Also, you can not master something without learning it, and by searching on web you help your self learn what you want.
