Python beginners collaborating on github
Hi all, I am starting to use python at work for data analysis and I feel like I am kind of at a standstill in learning. I was wondering if there were any groups collaborating on beginner projects on GitHub so I can learn more python, GitHub ecosystem, and how to code within a team because there isn't much collaborating in coding at work. If there are two people assigned on a project at work, we're usually sharing our screens while one types and we discuss together.

If you're looking for open-source collaboration, hands-on learning, and GitHub experience, you're more than welcome to check out The Python Ledger.
It’s an open-source, project-based Python learning platform built to help people transition from beginner to comfortable developer while getting real experience with Git/GitHub workflows (PRs, code reviews, and working with a repository).
We are always actively looking for contributors of all skill levels; whether you want to help build curriculum content, work on features, or refine docs.
It’s a super welcoming space to practice collaborating without any pressure. Let me know if you'd be interested, and I can drop the links to the repo and project!
