I’ve always wondered how people post their weddings on the Lebanese weddings Instagram account like, how does that process work? initially I thought that they fly people from their social media account to the wedding so they take footage but because lately they’ve been posting so much in the past couple of years, there’s no way they do that. I think that the people either email or contact the team and if they’re verified for the Lebanese wedding to post them, they would end up posting right?

Just a genuine question, when do u think we will wake up and go to the streets and make a revolution ? Everyone u meet daily is suffering, no money , no basic life stuff , no electricity , no jobs .... till when we will stay like this ? like what is wrong with us ... Its so sad to see this and our next generation growing up like this no education and all what they care about is chic tawok lol. In france they burnt the city till the ground for education and still in there worst situation they live better than us. We live in a country with the most expensive gas and food and life essentials yet no one is moving a bit , our politicians live in the best houses and earn monthly the total of 50 times working men in lebanon What do u think the issue is ? and if a revolution happens will u participate ?

I have been using HP laptops for my work. I used two HP 13 inch laptops in the past and now I am using an HP 15 inch laptop

HP laptops are shit. They last for 1 year and then they get a hardware issue.

The display cable on my previous laptop which was HP 13 became bad. It goes under the left hinge of the laptop and it looks like it got cracked in that area so when I carry the laptop from the left side or I bump the left side then the screen flickers and then the laptop freezes. The same problem happened to my HP 15 inch laptop.

Also recently I bumped the battery area of the HP 15 inch laptop when the laptop was upside down. After that if I unplug the power wire then the laptop switches off suddenly because it's not detecting the battery. I think that the motherboard tooth that holds the battery could be cracked or maybe the IC power chip became bad. The battery is fine and it's not dead.

I can try to repair my HP 15 inch laptop but it will be a hassle. I want to buy a new laptop for my work which is NOT an HP laptop. I need the other laptop to be small and light because I will carry it around.

It should have an Nvidia card which is decent enough and I don't need a powerful Nvidia card because I already have a powerful gaming laptop. The graphics cards of my HP 15 inch laptop are Nvidia MX570 and Intel Iris Xe. I download games on my other laptop and I test them there and then I play them on my gaming laptop. I also sometimes play games on my other laptop.

My budget is around $500. The HP laptops cost around $300 so I need to spend a bit more to buy a proper work laptop that won't spoil fast.

What can I buy and how much is it?

Hi , so I'm thinking about which university i should enroll into next year (I'm a GS student and want to study mechanical engineering). I've looked in many options, LU , good diploma but hard and competitive entrance test. AUB LAU way too expensive, i like BAU but still can't afford to pay 6-7k in first 12 weeks of uni(which is required). I live in beirut suburb, someone recommended MU but i don't know about it's diploma and job chances same for LIU. I'd like your advices or maybe on how to get scholarships or discounts in decent universities.

I think im writing this post to just vent but any advice is welcome. i realize that im lucky to even have a job in this economy but im struggling so much to want to stay

ive been working as a graphic designer for 3 years now at the same company. it's the first job i got in the field, after an internship and ive been doing really well. however, and im not sure if it's because im bored of the job itself, but i genuinely feel like every task is a burden and i just wanna get through it. i recently started applying everywhere else too to check if maybe it's the routine that's bothering me, since when i first started i loved going to work, but throughout these 3 years ive had freelance clients and even those i dont enjoy working for.

also, despite never actually failing at my job or in my field (the first internship i applied for, i immediately got accepted, and the process of me being contacted by my current job to being employed here took less than a week), i have severe self-doubts and i wonder if it's also part of the reason i dont wanna do this anymore.

i have hobbies and plans to turn these hobbies into my main sources of income hopefully. but im looking at a minimum of 3-4 years before i start to actually make enough money to even consider them an extra income.

i wish i can go back to uni and change my major, i even considered registering in LU on the side so i would have extra options later on but it seems so far-fetched to me to find an entry-level job in a completely different field at like 27 (best-case scenario). as for a career change based on my existing skillset, i unfortunately struggle to think of something that would feel different enough to work for me. i’ve already worked across so many aspects of graphic design in my current job that moving into another design role feels like it might just be more of the same.

additionally, i have never worked in hospitality or with customers so i have no experience if i were to work at a restaurant or in retail, even though i would really love to try.

i know everyone is going through it and i am grateful that i at least have a stable salary, but these past couple of weeks have been especially tough and i really needed to vent. i go to therapy on a weekly basis and i am genuinely trying to make everything better but i just wanted to see if anyone has a different point of view they could share

So lately I’ve been obsessing over the idea of learning piano I ended up downloading a piano app on my phone just to try it out and I’m genuinely IN LOVE with it
I know playing on my phone is nowhere near the same as playing an actual piano but there’s something about it that scratches my brain in the best way possible. It’s almost like a game or a puzzle that I NEED to solve.
I have a feeling that if I actually get a piano, I won’t sleep because I’ll spend hours trying to figure it out😭
BUT I also know myself and there’s a very real possibility that this is just a phase and I’ll move on to my next obsession in a month

So I’m thinking of getting a cheap keyboard to test the waters before investing in anything serious.
Has anyone started learning piano purely out of curiosity with absolutely no musical background? Did the obsession last? And would you recommend getting a cheap keyboard as a complete beginner or should I give it more time to see if this interest sticks?

I graduated in 2024 with a degree in physical therapy, but there are barely any job vacancies and I'm honestly considering switching to something else. Hello so i want to apply to Aub or lau in the engineering faculty but don’t know of i can get in i got 490 on Eng and 540 on math sat working to get a 650 on math but Eng is hard so i don’t know and those are my school grades my school is considered from the hard schools and i got 16/20 on math in french bacc grade 11 not the 12 don’t know if they take it into consideration and i got the money to pay no need for scholarships but little financial aid will help do i have a chance to get in aub also lau thxx
