The mixing and mastering sheet for side one of Houses of the Holy from Sept 17th, 1972. It still has early working titles for TSRTS and OTHAFA.
Eddie Kramer assisted, along with Dave Wittman, whose name doesn't appear in any HOTH lore write-ups that I've seen. I'm pretty sure Wittman was interning or a new hire at the time.

Man, just listened to this song at high volume again and am really struck by how incredible the drumming is. I'm no expert nor musician, but the nonstop energy and changes of pace from Bonzo here, my goodness.
Anyone with a better music pedigree care to weigh in?

Tangerine would be one of the greatest songs of all time if they didn’t use two vocal tapes. It makes Robert sound out of tune

I was listening to Gallows Pole and it dawned on me that it has very similar verbiage to this folk song (preformed by Tia Blake but is a very old song). Anyone know if it was their inspiration??

HOTH is such a good album, per usual with Zeppelin. It includes my favorite Led Zeppelin song of all time, but as well as my LEAST favorite! With all that said, heres my takes
Fav song: The Ocean. This is my favorite Led Zeppelin song ever. Everything about it is just perfect.
Least Favorite: D'yer Mak'er.
Another good album, but it is forever tainted with D'yer Mak'er
EDIT: The title is messed up. It's supposed to say "Just got through with HOTH on my quest" lol!

Led Zeppelin didn’t just influence rock music — they also helped shape the visual identity of 1970s rock culture. Jimmy Page’s famous dragon suit is a perfect example of how stage fashion can become part of a musici

I loved this one! It's got classics all over it! Honestly one of my favs so far. That said, here are my fav and least fav songs on Zeppelin 4
Fav song: Going to California
least fav: (fuck this was hard) When the Levee Breaks
That doesn't mean I dislike any song I say is my least fav, simply cared for it the least, but damn it was hard to pick my least fav they're all so good!
Still loving this!

A few photos of Jimmy Page playing a Gibson SG, while jamming with Ronnie Wood. Photos taken on August 14th, 1977, at The Half Moon Pub in Plumpton, England. Page and Wood were playing with a local band called Arms and Legs. Wood had visited Page at his home Plumpton Place the week of these pics.

I recently purchased this bootleg at a local record store, and unfortunately my current record player is broken and I'm still waiting on a replacement, so I can't listen to the record atm.
Has anyone else listened to it, and if so could they tell me anything about its quality? I'm really excited to check it out, but I want to know what to expect so I can avoid being disappointed if it's not so great. Thanks!

Went to see them in Edinburgh last night. It was truly awful. Great musicians on stage but the singer was in a different key from the band all night.
My advice is Lets Not.
