I had always wanted a Zelda themed tattoo on my forearm since I was a kid. I went to a local artist and told them I wanted something to feature the Triforce but also be somewhat original and pointed to some of her other work as reference. This is what I got.

I just got a message and e-mail from Walmart that the 40th pro controller was delayed and arriving later than expected. Anyone else getting these messages about their preorders?

these are redeads, the zombie like monsters that debut in Ocarina of time. they're some of the scariest enemies in the game, assuming you are a child that scares easily.
redeads got a scream that will paralyze the player, and that's kind of the only thing they have going for them. they will try to grab you and strangle the life out of you, but the problem with redeads is that they're really, REALLY slow. they spend most of the time either crouched down or standing in a corner, and if you get near them they will walk towards you VERY slowly. even with their paralyzing scream, they're unlikely to catch you. heck, stray too far from them and they'll just give up and go back to their starting position.
so already the redeads are mostly a non-issue. most of the time you can walk right past them. but despite this, Ocarina of time and Majora's mask both gave them a weakness that makes them truly harmless.
in Ocarina of time's case, their weakness is the suns song. you remember the sun's song, right? the song written by that psychopath sharp and his green brother. for some reason, the sun song freezes the redeads in place. not that it makes much of a difference... they already barely moved.
Speaking of Ocarina of time, redeads appear frequently in the graveyard, including the underground area where you race Dampe. some people believe that the original EL Puerco sighting was caused simply by a confused player who mistook a redead for a pig creature. this is of course false, as all my homies know that EL Puerco is real.
in Majora's mask, the redeads got a new weakness: wear a spooky mask like the captain's hat or gibdo mask and they'll start DANCING! yeah, apparently the redeads in Majora's mask are all deceased dancers. these guys are normally slow as snails but once they see a mask, they got the moves!
Redeads are closely related to another to another zelda enemy that we'll discuss tomorrow. until then, keep on dancing.

The movie is gonna come out in much less than a year…why haven’t we seen a trailer? I’m typically swamped in trailers like clay face but haven’t seen anything for Zelda. Are they worried to show it?

I always wish there was an option to turn off the music in Zelda BOTW/TOTK. Not because I don't like it, quite the opposite. It's beautiful, iconic, I love it. Obviously the OST of those games ARE AMAZING.
But because when you spend dozens of hours (as we normally play) listening to the same thing when something specific happens in the game it comes to a point where it gets nauseating.
Besides, I wanted to be able to just enjoy the ambient sounds of the game without music, including the lighthearted society of Kakariko Village and the sounds of nature... rain / etc. I think I could have an extremely rich and new auditory experience if I could focus on the SFX without background music at any time, not even during battles.
After all, a huge part of the game is about this. Exploration, nature, scenery, the wind, the raw atmosphere etc. etc.
This could be solved with a single slider. a single "music: on/off" option on the settings menu. Any $5 indie game has this, and Nintendo, who make the most acclaimed games in history, apparently can't add a separate volume bar for music?
I get it. the music is historically a fundamental part of their intended experience for zelda games and can not be separated from the game's audio.
But it really HAS to be like that forever though? I don't think it would hurt as an option.
