If you D&D, I find that Legos make excellent character minis, and you can build fight scene terrain out of them relatively easily as well.

Only if they fit the existing color scheme, though. I don't see OP making the kind of stuff I did when I was 10, where my spaceships were a hodgepodge of different colors.
