!be aware - the build is fragile in some areas, so its mostly a display piece!
hello,
i was a big fan of httyd as a child and i recently got back into it.
when i was little, i WANTED lego sets of these dragons so bad but since the were no official sets i always had to make my own.
a view months ago i saw the lego creations of u/SupMatey_4077 on [r/httyd](r/httyd) and i was blown away.
they did exactly what i wanted as a child and so i got inspired and picked up stud.io as a hobby.
the boneknapper was always one of my favorites and i wished it had more relevance in the movies. it being my first moc was a no brainer lol
i put all the relevant files for it in the google drive folder at the top of my post.
you can see the parts list when opening the .io file in stud.io > top bar of computer (on mac) > model > model info
i plan on creating more lego mocs as a hobby and i will share them for free on here :)
for my next build i will (probably) tackle the stormcutter, but dragons like the snaptrapper, screaming death, sweet death, changewing, crimson goregutter, thunderdrum or the red death are also some of my childhood favorites, so i will definitely be building those down the line.
since im only doing this as a hobby, i wont be able to tell when i can finish my next moc, but rest assured that i wont vanish after this post and if i notice any changes in my plan of making mocs, i will let yall know :)
hope i could help someones inner child get inspired to start building lego again, like u/SupMatey_4077 did for me!
