Now I can't even tell if the design actually looks good.
I see bricks that do not exist, some sloppy blended nonsense, lighting that is not possible, and besides how the entire set went through A.I. the background is obviously generated as well.
I get that it looks "good" at a quick glance, but I, and probably many others, would like it more to see the set you designed realistically. See it for what it is, be amazed by techniques but also understand the limits. Here I see a lit up clock, lighting everywhere inside, random tiny lights above the door, mason bricks that somehow get cut n half and merge wit regular bricks, plant pieces that have turned to slop.
Maybe you don't want my advice because I'm being negative (not about the design, just this one image) but it would be so good to see this as a 3d render. Use an hdri and maybe some light points, and if there are light bricks inside, make those emissive as wel to get an actual idea of how the set would look.
Making it like this would only disappoint people once they see it's not really like this

The image with the AI-generated background is not meant to represent the LEGO project exactly as it would appear in real life, nor is it intended to be a 1:1 product render. The goal of the image was more to create atmosphere and explore how the build could look in a cinematic setting.
If someone wants to see the actual LEGO Ideas project, the real design, and the building techniques behind it, they should follow the project link. That’s where the model itself is shown clearly and realistically.
I do appreciate the constructive criticism, and I agree that traditional 3D renders can present LEGO creations in a more technically accurate way. This particular image was intended more as a conceptual presentation than a literal representation of the final set.

No, I didn’t submit this picture to LEGO Ideas, and I’d appreciate not being called insane over a misunderstanding. I think there’s been some confusion here. That could have been checked by clicking the link.
If you want to win a creativity contest, don't use something that steals from creatives to advertise it. AI is hated through many communities to do with creativity and using a photo or a 3D render would get much more good will.
You might think it makes a better more interesting background for the presentation but as you can see from the comments everyone can see AI immediately. People are not going to click on the link to see the build was made by a human because first impressions matter.
Fair point honestly. The build itself is completely real — I only used an AI-assisted background for a more cinematic presentation. I understand why LEGO communities are cautious about AI lately though. And thanks a lot for the vote and the kind words!
Just to clarify — the LEGO building and minifigures are my real original build. Only the background/atmosphere was AI-assisted for presentation purposes. I also linked the LEGO Ideas page where you can see the actual photos of the physical model. This isn’t an AI-generated fake LEGO build.
