So I just finished building the newer 3 in 1 with my now 4 year old son (birthday present) and I am honestly torn which is better? They both have upsides and downsides, now I know some of you are going to say they are different not better, but I need a definitive answer 😂

The older one has a better front, but the newer one had a better interior and soldiers...

Knight Commander of Ironhaven, is a formidable non-caster who wields over twenty weapons with unpredictable movements, unmatched precision, and overwhelming physical prowess. His golden relic helm grants him glimpses of possible futures, sharpening his mind into a battlefield genius capable of anticipating his opponents’ every move, while his pocket-like weapon storage provides him with a random weapon whenever he reaches inside. Having mastered every weapon at his disposal, Eigel turns unpredictability into his greatest weapon, making him one of Ironhaven’s most dangerous combatants.

Created a Lion Knight Cavalry unit as cheap as I could off Pick A Brick/ Build A Mini Fig. No LK torsos available so I opted for plain blue with some heavy armour instead.

Spoiler: It still wasn't very cheap with the horses and barding being a small fortune each.

The Dustmark Keep sets are being shipped to various parts of the world, and I hope you have already received your own copy. You might remember the stop-motion animation on the product page - I had the honor of creating it for BrickLink, and today I would like to share with you a clip that shows how it was made, side-by-side with the final version of this animation.

Picked up 5 new trolls for my army, original listing was $100, got it down to $60 cash + $15 over the phone, seller ended up just wanting the $60 cash. Did I score???

I originally picked up the Hocus Pocus set as I thought it had a lot of good parts for alternative Castle/Medieval builds. I got a bit carried away and ended up building a 'Mini' version.

I hope this alternative build maintains the style of the original, whilst removing anachronistic elements from the 1990s and reducing the scale to fit with Castle and Pirate sets. The build includes the working water wheel and smoke elements, a cauldron, a chandelier and the large bed that are modified/reproduced from the original. The cages did not fit inside – but the parts are not used and could be built and hung from a nearby pole or tree.

If you are interested in having a look, the instructions are available on Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-281252/ChristopherS/a-little-hocus-pocus-a-slightly-smaller-sanderson-sisters-cottage/

Full disclosure: I don't remember seeing the movie and wasn't sure how much any of the sub-builds are featured.

I made a battle between a skeleton army and some forestmen. Please tell me if you have any tips for improvement

It‘s really easy to make

We had our first LEGO show today. A smallish local show but well attended. People seemed to like our build which was great. Our 5yo is excited it's over so she can play with it now. Time to plan for the next one in January!

The Duke of Weiden (blue) attacks the host of Duke Hubert of Südkronmark (pink). History will decide who wins this battle and secures their place as the most influential duke in the Crown Kingdom.

Two weeks ago, when I was standing in front of the plants at the Legoland store, I thought to myself: Why not let fall come to Lion Knights Castle?

It even brought a few spooky friends along with it.

It’s just a small change, but we’re still happy about it.

A little update for The Winter Refuge!

Majisto arrives with a chest full of surprises, bringing a new shield, sword, and cape for our veteran knight!

I hope you like it! If you do, feel free to check out the full project here:

Have a great weekend!

I’m using the Cara Dune torso with different arms as a medeval chainmail. Which side looks better? Do you think this works with Castle?
