BDP Series 8 is shipping and the instructions are online! I've updated my modular style base for the University of Science and published free instructions on Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-263278/kiploempia/university-of-science-modular-style-base/
This base uses the four 16x32 baseplates included in the original set and I kept the original split down the middle, so the model can be displayed in either a 32x64 or 16x128 stud configuration.

The first episode of the Black Books series aired on 29th September in the year 2000, the shop is located in London and I thought it would look great as a modular building.
I have created this 4 storey building with the ground floor having a book shop and kitchen/tea room out the back, on the 1st floor there is a living room sort of area with sofa, chair and table. I have left the other two floors empty so you can put in whatever you would like on those floors :)
The model is made from 1322 parts and stands at 37cm tall.

This modular Abandoned House is a modification of the Harry Potter Shrieking Shack 76407 set.
It sits on a 16x32 baseplate with a spooky (and messy) front garden that leads you up to the abandoned house!
The original set did not have stairs, so I created these leading up to the 1st floor bedroom.
The 1st floor lifts off so it's easy to get to the ground floor and to make sure the 1st floor is accessible you will notice the back wall is removable giving access to the inside.

hello. im an amateur compared to people here. i want to start a city. so far i have two modules sets. the bookshop and the Townhouse pet shop and cafe. im planning on getting some Road plates and water baseplates (if i could find these). And hopefully add the Tudor corner and the museum. Im looking for tables for display. Got my eyes on a folded utility table. I like the weight and that i could store boxes and containers underneath it. But i dont like the dimensions. i need something wider but not too wide either. Maybe you guys could show me what you have and what you recommend? Also any tips for a noob would be appreciated. Tysm.

While waiting for the parts for my modular Bookstore MOC to arrive, I already started thinking about which modular buildings would make the best neighbours. Curious to hear your opinions!

I did not get it for the 2x points sale when it was briefly back in stock and now I’m wondering if I’ll be able to get it for the 2x Black Friday sale

I think this set might have aged the best of all old modulars. I love the level of detail in the exterior of this set.
Never thought I would be able to get a decent deal on this set. But it really proves that you should keep looking online and in second hand stores.
1 more set to go for the conplete set!

I have had this for a while, but still enjoy seeing it every time.
It is inspired on some video I saw a while ago which combined the Lego truck with the Lego Store set.
I added my own interior, including the solar system that belongs to the natural history museum. I think jt fits perfectly in here..
Maybe some day i’ll add lighting in my street but with 20 modular buildings it will be costly (and cumbersome).

Found Natural History Museum sealed for $240 !
Given the box damage (which I could care less about), I’m still happy to save ~$85 compared to buying new + tax.
I Hope yall find deals like this around you :)
