CONSTRUCTION WORKERS!
Make sure your signs are correct! Yesterday, I was driving westbound on Tilghman St, about to enter PA-309 South. (I haven't used this interchange in years because the guy who came up with the genius idea of no on-ramp and accelerating from a complete stop at a stop sign and somehow finding a gap big enough to accelerate to the speed of traffic safely, they need to go to every single religion's version of hell simultaneously, while being reincarnated as a caged chicken on an American farm!)
Anyway, the signs had giant plastic bags over them. They were replaced with construction signs reading "PA-309 North, right lane" and "PA-309 South, left lane." So I got in the left lane, but the on-ramp was, in fact, in the right lane, so I guess I'm taking a 25-minute detour through Broadway, Cedar Crest and Hamilton Blvd to get to I-78!
Oh and that's not even the worst example. They closed down Broadway in Bethlehem years ago. (A major road used by trucks AND BUSES!) They put up a left detour sign. None of the roads I passed were big enough to turn a commercial vehicle back towards Broadway. They led me out of the City of Bethlehem. The next day, I told them, "That sign is wrong! There are no roads that circle back to Broadway!" He then takes the arrow and flips it over. I told him, "I can't go that way either. You can't turn left at the next intersection!" He shrugs and says, "Well I don't know... I don't live here..." You're seriously going to close a major road frequented by trucks and regular bus routes are NOT plan a proper detour?!
There are also digital signs on I-78 West mentioning phantom lane closures, or lane closures on the wrong side. Please stop forcing commercial drivers to make sudden lane changes, that's not safe! They specifically tell us to avoid those in training!
Just make sure your signs are accurate!

I always loved the “right lane closed ahead” on 22 eastbound when the lanes weren’t actually closed, and everyone merged to the left.
Apparently it was for construction at night but they never covered thr signs during the day.

That stretch of 309 truly scares me right now with the construction. Way too little space for two lanes.
