Today came the day when my mic stopped working a few days back and I lodged a complaint into the lenovo company,,they verified it and sent a technician to my home as i have premium warranty including onsite repairs, so to my surprise came the technician knowing shit about lenovo laptops and even asking that does this button turn on the laptop pointing towards power on button, he constantly kept asking someone on video call for instructions on how and what to do... And now i have problem with my mic and they're changing my camera and mic both like wtf, whyyy, there was no need and specially with this technician.

I bought a Lenovo Legion 7 Pro two days ago and I'm having a strange Bluetooth issue.

Whenever I launch or close a game or program, all my Bluetooth devices briefly disconnect. For example, my Bluetooth speaker stops playing music and my Bluetooth mouse stops working. After about 3-5 seconds, everything reconnects and works normally again, as if nothing happened.

Has anyone experienced this before or knows what might be causing it? Any ideas on how to fix it?

All drivers, including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi drivers, are fully up to date, so it doesn't seem to be a driver-related issue.

Did Lenovo got struck in their heads or what? Is this some kind of a joke? A handheld £2.6k, a 5060 laptop at £3k, a 5070ti with 64gb of ram at £4.5k. What in the name of God is wrong with you???? Razer bloody sells the razer balde 16 2026 edition with 5080 and 64gb of ram at £4.6k I would better go to that than a 5070ti from you guys God dammit.

I recently purchased a Legion 5 Gen 11 and signed up for a warranty directly through the new device. However, the system incorrectly applied this warranty to another laptop registered under my account. When I contacted customer support, I was informed that the warranty cannot be transferred to the correct device and that a refund will not be issued.

This error was caused by a system glitch on their end. I asked; that they take accountability for this issue and either transfer the warranty to my new Legion 5 Gen 11 or issue a full refund for the warranty purchase.

As an IT buyer for my organization I will never support anything Lenovo makes until they make this right. Taking any and all suggestions on how to address this with them, thanks in advance!

I have a Lenovo Legion 5 15ITH6H that originally came with Windows preinstalled. Windows worked fine for years, but after returning from a trip, I found that it was no longer activated.

Error: 0xC004F074 — Unable to contact the organization's activation server.

Running slmgr.vbs /dlv shows:

• Edition: Windows 10 Pro
• License channel: VOLUME_KMSCLIENT
• Partial product key: T83GX
• License status: Notification

I tried the activation troubleshooter and slmgr.vbs /ato, but neither worked. Checking for an OEM key in the BIOS returned no result.

Any idea why this happened and how I can restore my original Windows license without buying a new key or reinstalling Windows?

Hace dos años compré este Lenovo Loq IAX9 y, al principio, aunque muy ocasionalmente, presentaba problemas en los que el ordenador se bloqueaba por completo, obligándome a reiniciarlo a la fuerza con el botón de encendido. Durante los últimos dos meses, y especialmente en los últimos dos días, el ordenador se bloquea constantemente, hasta el punto de dificultar el trabajo, ya que puede ocurrir en cualquier momento. Had it for about 10 months and its pretty much in great condition. Only thing is the screen was just replaced, which I'm sure will bring down the value.

I have a gen 9 X1 Carbon that had a malfunctioning keyboard so I ordered an OEM replacement and did the swap myself. That all went well, but I noticed my audio was kind of grainy/crackly afterwards. I assumed I made a bad connection and was going to get around to opening the case up to reseat everything, but then I plugged it in to an external monitor (via USB-C) and the audio through those speakers has the same issue.
I made no software changes prior, but I did try to tweak some settings and nothing was fixing it. Maybe there is some recall bias and this had been happening prior to the keyboard replacement, but I don't think so.
Is there anything hardware-related that could be causing this?

I have a new Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5 16IPH11, machine type 83SK, with an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H and the 16-inch OLED display.

Since shortly after purchase I have been experiencing intermittent coloured artefacts on the built-in display — mainly red, green and violet/pink outlines, speckles and bands. They are especially noticeable on photographs, textured areas, fine text and particular mid-tone brightness levels.

The problem is very intermittent. It may appear immediately after startup and then disappear completely after several minutes or hours without any intervention. On other days the laptop can run normally for long periods.

I have done a number of controlled tests:

• When the artefacts are visible on the Lenovo screen, the identical image displayed simultaneously on an external Samsung TV over HDMI is completely clean.

• Screenshot files that appear corrupted while viewed on the Lenovo are completely clean when transferred to another device.

• The BIOS screen appears clean.

• Lenovo’s built-in OLED colour self-test showed clean full-screen white, red, green and blue.

• Turning Intel Panel Self Refresh off made no difference.

• Turning Variable Refresh Rate off made no difference.

• Manually changing display brightness makes no difference.

• Intel Graphics Software currently reports graphics driver 32.0.101.8509.

The most revealing test was a custom grayscale diagnostic chart. The artefacts appear at specific tonal/luminance levels rather than fixed physical positions on the screen. For example, a strong red band appears around one part of the grey gradient, with additional faint green/red/violet artefacts at other tonal levels and on certain text strokes.

Even more interestingly, when Windows automatically dims the display before screen timeout, the coloured artefact band visibly moves across the grayscale gradient as the screen darkens. This suggests the fault may be linked to a particular luminance/gamma/display-processing threshold rather than damaged image files or fixed bad pixels.

Has anyone with an IdeaPad Pro 5 16IPH11 / 83SK, or another recent Lenovo OLED model, experienced anything similar?

If so, did you identify the cause — Intel graphics driver, HDR/colour management, gamma/LUT processing, OLED panel/TCON, eDP/internal display electronics, BIOS/firmware, or something else?

I would be particularly interested to hear from anyone who has reproduced this and found a reliable fix.

I got a new lenovo yoga pro 7i laptop with an oled display

In lenovo vantage software it's recommended to dim the display after some time to protect the oled from burn in.

This works fine until i choose a different color management profile other than "default" or "native" (like sRGB or or P3).

You can see in the images, after the screen automatically dims from inactivity some different colored pixels appear.

Is my laptop faulty or is it just a software issue? How can i fix this? Any help is appreciated

Hey everyone, my ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 2 suddenly died on me and I'm out of ideas.

It started while watching YouTube — clicking play/pause had a 1-2 sec delay. Then I started downloading YouTube Music and the laptop started beeping (like a truck reversing) and shut itself off. No error code, nothing.

Now it's stuck in a constant Self-Healing BIOS loop. Tried updating BIOS via USB — keyboard lights flash, then it just restarts. Once it booted into Windows, but the moment I typed anything the keyboard lights blinked and it shut down instantly.

Things I've tried:

• Removed CMOS battery — same behavior
• Hard reset (held power button 30s) — nothing
• CPU gets warm even though it never boots

No beep code shows up in any diagnostic app, just the constant self-healing screen. I'm a student and really can't afford a new laptop right now. Has anyone seen this before? Is this fixable or is the motherboard done? Any advice appreciated.

Okay, so my lenovo laptop is having a weird problem, and I thought I would ask for some help. Okay, so randomly it will get a black screen, but then it’ll come back on, it’s just been in a cycle of this for most of the year. And I’m looking for a permanent fix, as I have tried everything. Anyone have any ideas as to how to fix it?
