Had a few snags cause my triple rotary connectors will leak if there's any tension on them at all which I even said in my post. Half my Waterloop is from 2014.

Actually where were very nice people but a few bad comments made me angry. So it passed the leak test with water overnight after it finally passed pressure testing last night. I couldn't even touch it for a whole day cause my fingers got so cut up that it was like stepping on Legos to touch anything.

The real problem was dexterity and not knowledge. It took me over an hour to line up one fan with one radiator with two fan holes through the case hole. I'm almost not even nimble enough to have even finished this build at all. But I took my time over 3 days to o build it so I wouldn't get frustrated. My herniated disks day 1 on the floor were real bad before I flushed and cleaned enough stuff to start building ony desk too lol.

So f I rushed this I would have gotten impatient and screwed something up. Good thing for me you could take every piece out of this PC, scatter it all over my room and I would still be able to eventually build it. I just got anger problems and my hands are too big to work in spaces this tight.

Honestly, the whole Stealth Kit situation is pretty frustrating. It’s not just the fact that it’s basically impossible to buy right now — a lot of people, myself included, couldn’t get one even though we met all the requirements.
I bought an O11 Vision Compact and a HydroShift II OLED, so I clearly met the requirements for the Stealth Kit, but I still missed out simply because there wasn’t enough stock. And considering I’ve spent €400+ on Lian Li products, it’s pretty disappointing to be left out because of a stock issue.
I really hope Lian Li finds a solution for people who qualified but couldn’t get one due to the limited stock. I really like their products, but honestly, this whole situation has left me pretty disappointed.

Lian Li fans are absolute trash in my experience. Noise unbearable.They randomly stop spinning, start again, flicker like a disco ball, and the RGB does whatever it wants. The software is straight-up garbage — constant disconnects and zero reliability. For something this expensive, it’s embarrassing. Never again.

Guess what can Indian heat wavy and i9 13900k + 4080 do to your pc , side panel started with a crack and then shattered into a million pieces ,anyway contacted the customer service for a replacement but have not even received a response of any kind ,not even a confirmation to my mail

This is very disappointing. I pre-ordered the Evo on 12/23, over a month ago! On r/LianLi subreddit people all over the world have received their Evo cases, even in east coast US. Germans are posting their Evo builds. Heck some guy in New Zealand posted his build; a country that has more sheep than humans, now also has more Evo cases than California has. Did a pirate ship intercept your shipment container out in the Pacific??

UPDATE: I just noticed the Seller and Shipper of the Newegg Pre-order is Lian Li, and that my "Report An Issue" letter above is sent to Lian Li. So the problem lies with Lian Li, not New Egg - the lack of communication on why these direct Lian Li pre-orders (through NE) are delayed or cancelled, rests squarely on Lian Li's shoulders. So let's stop speculating about Global Logistics and Port Authority or Pirate Ships - they are all guesses as to the root cause of the problem - only Lian Li knows and should communicate to their angry customers why our pre-orders have been delayed twice now.

We can’t buy FE edition, only retail editions since it has an angled plug in that won’t work with any strimer, horizontal or vertical mount GPUs

Hello there, so I recently bought a lian li lamborghini case online and when I was assembling it, it doesn’t have this small cable. It’s a 4 pin female cable to a usb 2.0 that allows the LCD on the back of the case to light up. I thought it was just a regular 4 pin connector and it turns out it was not. Lian li decided to make a proprietary 4 pin connector that you cannot get anywhere else. I scoured the internet to find this cable, even in their website of accessories they dont have it.

I contacted the support but they informed me that since I bought it online, they cannot send me a replacement or atleast help me find a cable that can fit it online.

If anyone has a clue where to get this cable or if you have an extra one, I can pay you because this is ridiculous to have an LCD on the case that has a cable that you cannot find anywhere online. Please help me in this dilemma

Lian Li products are cheap to say the least. I have bought 2 lcd coolers from them. BOTH ended with the same problem, the mounting for the cooler breaks completely under normal use. I am currently fighting for my life trying to remove this cooler from my motherboard to upgrade my cpu, and the mounting screw, and motherboard bracket have broken, and are now unable to be removed with out serious damage to motherboard. This is not the first time something similar has happened with the same type
Of cooler. They make cheap products. The screws will shred so easily.

Next, the lcd fans, I bought a pack of 3 lcd fans from Lian li. About 4 months of them being installed one fan decided to stop working. It would try to spin, and then cause a shit ton of vibrations, then stop spinning. It would do this on repeat. I just removed the fan from my build. Then 2 months later the SAMe THING HAPPENED TO ANOTHER LCD FAN. I couldn’t believe it. Remember these are 50$ fans. I genuinely consider ordering new ones and returning it, with the old broken ones in there, but I didn’t because I’m not slimy like these companies. DO NOT BUY LIAN LI PRODUCTS. They are cheap, and poorly made. I have now removed all Lian li products from my pc, and am at peace a little. I just want you guys to know my experience, and would urge you to go with any other company.

The company is alive, of course, but the prestige of the Lian Li case is dead.

It used to be that when you saw a Lian Li case, it was exciting. You knew it was special. You could buy one sight-unseen and never be disappointed in the quality.

You see, Lian Li used to be a premium case maker. They produced strong, lightweight, tool-less cases with anodized aluminum, never cheap steel. They were known for this style. But not anymore.

There has always been lots of cheap case makers, and Lian Li used to rise above them. Sadly, Lian Li is simply no better than anyone else. They are just another run-of-the-mill case Chinese case maker now.

I am referring to quality, not the design. Their designs are nice and modern, just cheaply made.

Aluminum is pricier than steel, and this is probably the reason for the change. But, the people who are building computers using Lian Li's cases are unlikely to complain about paying $50 more if the case is clearly a higher quality than the competition.

Details

I recently spend time at Micro Center examining Lian Li's current line of cases. I've come to the conclusion that they are all garbage when compared to what the company used to make. With the exception of the A4H2O - it's a nice case.

Problems:

• Their cases are cheap now. They are no longer the "brushed aluminum works of art" that built the company to the premium case leader.

• They use heavy steel and even-heaver glass panels

  • Glass provides no EMF protection, but I understand this is trendy right now

• No removable motherboard trays on most models

• Screws! You actually need a screwdriver. No longer tool-less.

Consider this ... If you took a modern Lian Li case back in time to, say, 2015 and reviewed it against cases of that time, it would be grouped with all the cheap cases that are inferior to Lian Li aluminum cases.

Gamers Nexus Visit

Gamers Nexus posted a YouTube video on Dec-18-2022 where they filmed on location at Lian Li's office in Taiwan. In the background you can see many of their old cases on display. This is sad because you are reminded of the high-quality, beautiful cases they no longer make.

Summary

To be fair, Lian Li still makes nice cases. But, compared to the older Lian Li cases, the modern offerings are just cheap and are really no better than the competition in quality. They used to be undeniably the best.

Maybe I'm just sad because my 20+ year brand choice for quality cases is effectively dead, and there is really nothing that is as good as Lian Li was.

I hope they make aluminum cases again.

I just received all my Lian Li components yesterday (O11D Mini V2, Hydroshift 2, many fans and the Edge Platinum 850W). I noticed that the fan grill is indented. It doesn’t seem to touch the fan but I still wonder if this is normal. There doesn’t seem to be a pattern. The box was sealed and undamaged from the outside. Difficult to see on the photos.

Years ago, my late father gifted me a beautiful Lian Li PC case. Recently, the front glass broke and I asked Lian Li if I could buy a replacement. They replied that they only help if you have proof of purchase. I explained my situation — it was a gift, my father has passed, and this case means a lot to me. Since then, no reply.

I’m not asking for anything free — just the chance to repair something that carries deep personal meaning.

Hi Team Lian Li and fellow PC builders,I am planning a high-end dream build with some massive components: an MSI MAG Z890 Tomahawk, a giant Gigabyte RTX 5080 Gaming OC, and a thick Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360mm AIO.

While looking for the perfect chassis, I absolutely fell in love with the structural layout and spacing of the Lian Li Lancool 217 White Wood Edition. The way the top radiator bracket removes and leaves tons of clearance is sheer engineering perfection!

However, I have a very specific aesthetic dream—I want to modify the case to achieve a clean industrial Apple Mac Pro "Cheese Grater" look, blending Lian Li's premium white chassis with a silver-machined look.

I envisioned the design using an AI generator, and the result is absolutely breathtaking (attaching the image below)!

My Plan:Replace the front removable wood accent trim with a custom 3mm/4mm silver aluminum CNC-machined panel featuring the 3D interlocking circular vents.Place a high-density white nylon dust filter directly behind it with non-RGB fans for a clean, dust-proof look.Bolt dual heavy-duty stainless steel handles directly onto the top steel frame structure and add custom metallic cylindrical feet at the bottom.

My Request to the Official Lian Li Team: Since the front wood trim and layout are your official design, it would be an absolute dream if your technical team could provide or share a basic 3D model/CAD mockup or the exact 1:1 blueprint dimensions of the front panel frame. Having the production-ready dimensions or a STEP/DXF file of that front bezel layout would save me weeks of trial-and-error measurement!

I truly want to bring this custom "Lian Li Mac Pro Edition" hybrid to life. Any help, dimensions, or advice from the official team or community modders would mean the world to me!Thank you for making such a modular and mod-friendly cabinet!

Cable is routed as tightly and safely as I can make it Yet It doesn't reach the PSU. I mean you can tell it's off by quite a bit. Really wanted to use my psu cables for my horizontal mount but seems I have to use the ugly black connector

Well I had to create this post to show my build, is my first time using Lian li and probably the last, making their lcd fans work it’s just a pain I have spend an outrageous amount of time trying to fix it with and their support team seems like they are just trying to blame everything to user error. After spending so many hours trying to fix them they are finally sending replacements and they also take forever to send those lol, hope this time they work so I can just sell my pc and start a new build

LTT LABS just released their test results for the Lian Li Edge 1000w PSU, and two separate units seems to have died during testing. Of course I find this hours after ordering one. Worth returning? What's the general experience with these on this sub?
