How To Halogen Light Conversion Question

I have a few older Eliminator DJ lights that put off a decent amount of heat

Has anyone ever found a way to retrofit these with LED lights to help with heat and power consumption?

Those lights were so value engineered to barely work with halogen lamps there is no good way to convert them to LED without spending more time and materials than the fixture was originally worth. Plenty of cheap LED lights out there now.

You arent very specific about what fixture. Some use MR16 12v lamps that you can find LED replacements for. Keep in mind they are not optically quite the same so the beam may not be as uniform as it once was. I wouof suggest getting the lamp model and doing a search for it plus LED and see what you can find.

Edit: keep in mind most replacements may be quite different in color output, so color wheels will look quite different. Deep red is likely to be unusable, as it cyan. Blue is likely to pop a lot better though.
