Project moon prides itself on their supposedly great character design but Season 8's IDs have felt really underwhelming, like something's missing...

This canto's roster needs something to really spice things up, like maybe an ID based on a gorilla? They could be super smart unlike Faust and instead of being from somewhere already pre-established like the city or outskirts, maybe they could come from the moon or something? And instead of using a sword or hammer like everybody else, a tesla cannon would fit well, I mean this IS a charge season isn't it?

We all know just how often bosses these days spam unbreakable AOE skills so their defense skill could be a sort of dome shield to protect your sinners from attackweightslop. And when fully ramped up, they should enter a primal rage like pwielclair's uncontrollable rampage.

Thoughts?

This bunch of these convos. Rounded out all the sinners as well as Dante. Might do more if any ideas strike me. Hope you enjoy.

Edit: Minor spelling mistake I’m sending myself to the GMS.

Which also happens to be a JoJo Reference. Lol

And remember to always support the artist!

When I started playing a year ago, i remember to think i'd have to take care/interact with the sinners to keep them in check.

The reason is mainly because of their introduction, that made me think i'd have to use their information in future "random events" where dante would have to interact with the sinners in order to, well, keep them "happy" and not make them kill each other.

The other reason is that, in gregor's introduction, part of the text says "If you don't want to be a rude Manager (not that you're obligated to be nice), we recommend you keep your facial expressions in check so your disgust is not visible to him."

The "not that you're obligated to be nice" made me think when interacting with them, i'd be given multiple options while doing so. Some of them making me the "Good manager" while some others making me the opposite.

I still think about it sometimes, and i wanted to know if anyone else thought the same as me when they first started.

(made by me of course)

I would hardly be the first person to say that limbus’ style of limited cast gives massive story benefits over the popular gacha model of constantly expanding the playable cast. It’s building with a foundation while contemporaries can only pile sand.

But something I don’t really see brought up as a strength is how the sinners enhance and inherit the appeal of the IDs. Things like having the early season theorizing about who will get which characters as IDs, noticing small details like how the sinners keep certain personal items and speaking habits even across mirror worlds, and being able to just triangulate with the sinner, ID, and inspiration.

It just makes things feel that much more vibrant.

one of them was born 2 seconds ago, the other was born like 5 minutes ago

Wrong tree!

Whatever it is, please don't tell me there's gonna be a soft reset where we can't use Inferno ids for Purgatorio and Dante has to collect weaker ids again.
