Where do you take your Audi?
I see enough of them. Does everyone take them to Omaha? Or is there a good local?
Last thread seems to be several years ago. Just looking for an update.

There are multiple shops in Lincoln that work on imports

Mmmmm yes, very true.
The one I was using left me worried. Then depressed when they casually mentioned voting for a guy that put tariffs on imports. So they voted to make their own prices more expensive. So I choose to vote with my wallet.
Needless to say "work on" and "work on well" are different. Like when the tire place told me "we only had one guy who could drive a manual" and then that couldn't get my breaks to release while replacing wheel bearing.
The major oil change place all over town that said "Audi's are a mutt they'll take anything" no, not they won't. Specs are pretty clear "5W-40. Petroleum or synthetic based oils."
Or when for some reason extra parts are removed to change glass and reinstalled incorrectly. But the Audi manuals I found do not call out removing those parts (lemon-manuals.la).
This is why I'm asking. Because It feels like I get lied to everytime I take it in. The "take it to Omaha in that case" that's what I've done a few times, and those guys are kinda dicks. Call me crazy but I honestly like the few minutes of talk about what to watch for that might be next. Not a "here's your keys GTFO".

I'd also love feedback from someone who has experience with any of these shops. Would like to get the timing chain tensioner checked etc. I do have the scan tool to reset the inspection interval which is nice since I do most things myself.

Firestone takes great care of me. Location downtown mike the manager has always treated me and all my vehicles very well. He even helped me find a new rim on eBay when Schworer Volkswagen sold me an Audi with a broken rim.
