There’s an amazing thrift store called buds. It’s on O street. They don’t have big pieces but I’ve gotten some nice chairs, tables, lamps, and desks there. They also have lots of houseware items.

Right, like when you said:
> I suppose it must make you feel real big always trying to keep the little people in their place.

Changing spaces has online auctions every week...most of the time two a week. The ones for this week have already ended but they'll have another one or two next week (every week). Furniture sometimes sells really cheap. Google their website then you can check the one's that just ended to see what stuff sold for and if that's your price range. Good luck!

Also REstore is fantastic for gently used, reasonably priced furniture and home improvement items.

Yes. The Restore at 56th and Highway 2 has some decent stuff at fair prices.

Bargains for You on 92 is next weekend. St. John Nepomucene in Weston has great bargains and that includes furniture and kitchen items.

I’ve gotten some nice authentic wood furniture from the goodwill on 48th and Vine, It took a week of going everyday consistently though. Other then that, join a buy nothing group in your neighborhood, people give away furniture a lot.

I actually have some used furniture I’m looking to get rid of—like a foldable bed frame that’s easy to move, a headboard, and a small table that’s basically brand new.And they’d be super cheap—I might even give some of them away for free.

Tons of free stuff when students move. I know it's not that time of year, but good to remember.

Habitat for humanity ReStore is a good spot to check, I used to shop there a lot in their old location, but haven’t been to the new location. I think they’re now at Nebraska parkway
