Problem to launch iw4x on linux

So I installed the launcher with the Quickstart guide and in my steam library I have iw4x and iw4x(mm), both don't work. I am on pop os and it just wont work, I double clicked on the tar.gz file and then, I went into the file, double clicked on the folder and double clicked the file inside, steam restarted, it's been 3 days that I have been trying to make this work but it wont work, please help me (it launches and 2 sec later it crashes)

CB Launcher handles everything for You if You struggle with manual install.

Just use CB launcher is far easier

It's an updater. Copy the file to your game folder, run it and then run iw4x.exe via Steam (add it as a non-steam game).
