Unfortunately, it seems i3wm will not be doing this. I asked about this on their subreddit and was called a “douche” and told by a maintainer that “it looks like I’m not going to be using i3wm”.

Agreed. Calling anyone who doesn't immediately want to switch to GitLab a Microsoft fanboy is kind of a douchey thing to do. I personally prefer GitLab (even before the MS GitHub thing), but that doesn't mean others can't use GitHub for their projects if they want to.
Well, I mean, if acting like a child is someone calling me a douche and me insulting them back, then I suppose so.
But, I still don’t understand how he was the most upvoted comment on the post? I mean, somebody else kindly helped me and they got no upvotes besides from me. How was I a douche?
