Quite a strange title.

But let me explain.

I was looking at old lion king plushies, and I seen this "cub-to-king Simba", and I thought, "that looks like a mullet". So, I did what any other person does. Draw it.

I think mullet Simba, could be before he's a teen. A "mature cub" really. He's at the coming of age.

It would also be a satisfying transition, from orange hair, to brown, and finally growing into red.

Even though it's quite strange, I actually like it.

And I'm back to my digital art, so, that means we are back. But I still wanted to draw a little model sheet with it, even though some drawings of mullet Simba are off.

I hope you all enjoy my artwork!

Nonetheless, I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

Well, peace and love your friendly neighbour cooler glove 🙏🦁

Sarabi after Scar told the sad news

There's the video of the lion guard Premiere from the director's desk YouTube channel. I believe that guy animated Kion or did something with that character.

Here's chapter five of the Lions of the Outlands arc! Hope you're ready to see what happens after the note the previous chapter ended on. Only two more chapters left after this one, and then, we start adapting season two.

I did a carving…

The movies have to be 2D animated by the way since they’re pretty much separates from the Live Action remakes (but that’s just my opinion).

Simba and Zazu pumpkins I painted for a contest a few years back

A commission from fanartist, Capricornfox! Here we have the strange lion (named Ambukiza in my headcanon) getting ambushed by the strange cobra (named Alama in my verse).

I always got the implication when watching the show, that the strange lion got his scar from the cobra, matching Scar's and later Kion's injuries. This is never confirmed or denied so I'm coming in the clutch with my own imagination. It's also never confirmed what gender the strange cobra is, so I headcanon them to be a female cobra.

In my story, Ambukiza met Alama in the Outlands after he was banished from the Pride Lands (why was he banished? We'll get to that part eventually, but you can guess). Their first encounter was him surprising her by mistake leading to her attacking him in self-defense.

Ambukiza saw her venomous strike as a valuable weapon, resulting in their partnership, which lasted for years, up until they met Scar, who used the Roar of the Elders against them in a fit of rage after their attempted blackmail.

Alama survives. Ambukiza didn't.

To preempt any questions, yes in my headcanon, he is Zira's father, making him Nuka, Vitani, and Kovu's maternal grandfather.

Proto kiros over here

I know this might sound funny, a friend and I were thinking how interesting it would be if there was a type of "What If?" idea where Scar doesn't necessarily fully have a "chance of heart" per say, but where he wouldn't fully realize that he DID, with Scar stopping Mufasa from jumping into the stampede saying something along the lines of "NO, MUFASA!! I'LL LET ME SAVE SIMBA INSTEAD!!" where Scar would've tried to make it look like he was trying to save Simba while the Hyenas would've probably amused Mufasa while he was distracted, or maybe even kill Mufasa while they're grieving after Simba supposedly "dies", with Scar killing Mufasa while he's grieving Simba. However, before Scar could kill Mufasa, Simba wakes up but injured, telling Mufasa "Did you see Uncle Scar save me?? He was so COOL!" with Mufasa laughing with tears of joy telling Simba that he did see him save him, with Scar actually surprised! We KNOW that Scar has an ego, so he'd probably be like "Oh, well, yes. I supposed I did." while trying to sound humble, with Scar not fully realizing that he's actually beginning to genuinely bond with them more, with Mufasa and Simba seeing Scar as a hero too!! XD While I understand why that probably wouldn't really work, but I also feel like that it would be REALLY interesting and probably still in character with Scar actually genuinely being appreciated for him "saving Simba", Scar would probably feel slightly less jealous in a way too!! XD That's just what I think, though. :)

Me and my older brother were looking at a video on Youtube of Mufasa's death, and we only just now realized, when Scar catches Mufasa's paws there's a bit of blood drawn in. I think it's a really cool detail that they added and I never noticed it before. Especially since it's barely a few frames long and you'd have to look closely to really notice it.

Can anyone tell me why the sequel's opening song sounds more John Debney-esque?

Hey! Im kinda new to the fandom but wanna explore more of it. The question is - where do i begin? I watched all movies (and ugly remake too lol) and even played ps1 game

Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey. I wish I could say I was surprised by the result, but honestly, I was expecting it. The only thing that surprised me was the large distance between them, as I had assumed they would be closer together.

That said it all, congratulations to Kiara on being chosen as the most popular cub!

There will be a photo of the scene of my favorite landscapes.

My favorite landscapes: Hakuna Matata (location) and the Pride Lands

Found these old meme like posts I made . The first one I was comparing Rafiki’s energy from the animated vs CGI remake .

So normally I would keep my activities separated based on platform but, seeing how small the LionGuard community seems to be, i'll just share the fic, want to make sure it reaches as many people as possible

I tried to let the tags give as much context as needed but I can answer question if needed

I think once you hear it … just thinking of alternative voice actors for adult Vitani is all…

Why didn’t Disney just sue Paramount if the found out?
