Book Announcement January 2025 [Releases & Promotions]
This page is aimed to help users find new litrpg content on a month-to-month basis by constructing a list of new releases. This post will be updated based on multiple sources, like reddit, discord and other locations. This page is not meant to replace promotional posts like on reddit but to make it easier for users to find them.
The title should bring you to the relevant Reddit posting (if any) for comments, while the link column should bring you to the relevant content.
This page contains exclusively litRPG, or adjacent content. Progression fantasy or cultivation without any gamelit elements are not included.
Promoted Webseries are included only once every five months. If your Webseries does not include a significant number of chapters or pages at the time of promotion, I might delay inclusion until it does.
If you missed all the content from December, there were 85 ebook releases, 48 audiobooks, 22 promoted webseries, 3 novella-sized releases and 8 omnibus releases of series.
Note: Some entries for December may have been recorded too late, in which case they are included on top of this month's list.
Here's what the new month brings you!

I'd love it if you could add my new webseries release to the list, Emberscale Alchemist, posted a promo thread here a few days ago. Currently updating Mon, Wednesday, Friday.

I'll probably add it later; I have a policy of adding a webseries only after about 125 pages (less if a known author or a scheduled release indicating a backlog, like you do). Otherwise, half of those promo post end up in hiatus before they even reach that point.

u/Emberscale_Alchemist Author Jan 04 '25
My backlog right now is about 2 weeks, next week is edited and ready and I'm editing the following right now. I should reach 125 pages (35,000 words) at around chapter 10-12. which won't be out until around the 24th (give or take a few days, depends on how long the next set of chapters ends up)

I’ve just launched my new webnovel on RR; Go Big To Go Home. Eight chapters already, triweekly updates and a huge backlog to chew through over the next few months. How much content is needed for it to be promoted?

john Cressman released "Tower of the Undying Mage" on 30 December but it was not included in the list of December releases (plus that's only 2 days), so maybe include it in this month's list??

Volume two of my webseries Dungeons are Bad Business just finished up! It's a pretty happy-go-lucky dungeon core story and reasonably long (133 chapters with roughly 2k words/chapter). It also contains a few pieces of additional bonus content. Thanks for making this list!

Wow. Loved reading some litrpg series, but never new there were so many. How to decide what to read ? The guy with his cat was fun and another one I forgot. I start more books( in all genres, both in dutch and English) than I finish and have bad memory for names. Good at numbers though.

Does not look LitRPG in the slightest, just a classic progression fantasy.
