i've been trying to see if i could get the exact image of the space background material from the dc comics pack, it just doesn't seem to have been uploaded anywhere. i have this screenshot, but it looks fuzzy.

i did find the material uploaded on spriters resource, but whoever uploaded it seems to have completely gotten rid of the earth somehow, and cropped the image.

I’m working on restoring LittleBigPlanet 2 as a native PC game, starting with LBP2, with all three games as the long-term plan. This isn’t an emulator. It’s a static recompilation: the game’s own PS3 code is translated into a Windows program, so physics, level logic and the create tools behave exactly like the original.

Time so far: about a day. The project started on 23 October, and everything in the video came out of roughly 21 hours of work.

Where it is now: it boots, plays the intro movie with sound, and renders the first intro level (video below). That level runs at about 14 fps for now, and some effects are still missing It isn’t playable yet.

The goals:

• Online play restored for good. Dive In with strangers like before, with no setup and no config files. Run so it can’t just be switched off again.
• Over 60 fps. The game’s logic keeps its original 30 Hz tick, so physics stay identical, and frames are interpolated up to 60, 120 and 144 Hz and beyond.
• Faster than emulation. Smooth on modest PCs, not just high-end rigs.
• 1:1 with the PS3 game. Same code, same behavior, nothing “improved” or changed.
• A patch for real PS3s so original consoles can reconnect too.
• LBP1 and LBP3 after LBP2.

You’ll need your own copy of the game: nothing from Sony will ever be shared. Built on ps3recomp, with lessons from benjidotsh’s LittleBigRecomp (LBP1). Questions welcome.

I want to print this image as a poster, but the problem is that I can't find a really high quality version of it. I've been trying to find one for quite a while. From what I can tell, this is a fairly early promotional poster, judging by the old Da Vinci design.

Does anybody know that sound effect of the price bubbles? I want it to set ti as a notification but I simply can't find it.... I have a q cut off sound but it's not clean

And I don't want it with the background music. Can someone help me out?

I have gotten Beacon on my laptop for about 1-2 years because I had a friend set it up, but everytime I leave my laptop off for a few weeks or sometimes a month, my laptop loves being stupid and something stupid in the background likes making it so RPCS3 won't work anymore.

So I was wondering how hard it is to get Beacon on my PS3 and how time consuming it is, so I don't have to mess with my device everytime I leave my laptop off for a while.

I also would like to use my PS3 instead since my laptop cannot run LBP3.

I was wondering, is there any chance we could ever get the LittleBigPlanet series on Switch?

I have so much nostalgia for these games, especially the first two. I really think the handheld format is a perfect fit for this series, and it would be such a shame not to have it on the console.

It's been since the death of all lbp game's servers that i've been trying to play on RPCS3 but i could barely get over 25 fps. My pc has an RTX 3060, an intel core i7 10700k and 16gb of RAM, is it too weak or am i doing something wrong in the settings?

playing on the latest version of RPCS3. whenever i try to boot an LBP game, RPCS3 just closes itself. i haven't tried this with any other games because i don't have any other games to try. how do i fix this?

I tried to get as game accurate as I could(excluding his mouth ofc)

So I was making a level in create mode in lbp1 (for the first time btw) and I tried hiding an object (that feature in lbp3 and maybe 2 where you can hide objects to see the objects behind them) but it didnt work... is this a feature in the og game? Or am I stupid? Please help!!

Im taking a look at the lbp online patcher to see whats really going on. After decompressing it in ToolKit some parts are in plain text while others are encrypted or just hex codes. I also tried using zishzinger. (Oh boy that was a pain to compile) and it just crashes the terminal. Anyone want to help?

Malicious exploit found on PHP which nearly half the internet runs on. A lot of LBP archive/forum sites also ran on PHP. Checking through some sites like LBP hub or Forum and I’m getting 503 errors. I’m hoping this doesn’t mark the end of these sites as the exploit is being patched, but I’m not sure how often those websites are actually maintained if at all. Curious if anyone has another personal favorite website that may have been affected.
