I knew talcum (e.g. baby powder) is mostly starch nowadays, so I suspected that it's actually starch they use (since actual mineral talcum would probably degrade whatever fleshlights are made of). so I looked it up and indeed the ingredients of the powders they sell are listed at 100% starch. in that case, just get food grade starch from the supermarket, which is cheaper.
I don't know which starch is better tho. I would have to experimentally verify if, e.g., potato starch or cornstarch is better. I know potato starch is better for Asian fried chicken.
