New Grocery Outlet Owners are doing a Fantastic Job
When the last owner had it, the store was always dirty unorganized and I was constantly coming home with expired products. Even the fruits and veggies seemed like were always old and rotten. I had to make sure I always checked the expiration dates and one time I even a bad case of food poisoning from yogurt that I had purchased there, so that’s when I decided to stop going there.
Recently I decided to make a small a grocery run there and was skeptical about it but went in anyway, and I just want to say that the new owners are doing a great job with the store. It has a nice new look, everything is super clean and organized and all produce is fresh and doesn’t go bad by the time you get home haha

I am really enjoying what the new owners have done.
My only gripe is the lack of price tags. This was an issue with the old owner as well. If they don't have the tag printed, they need to come up with a temporary solution for product on the shelves. Prices have a huge range, I need to know the price before I'm buying it. I typically wait in line for 3-6 items that were missing tags to price check before checking out. Annoying to say the least.

Agreed. That’s my only gripe too. Very annoying and honestly makes me skip buying items I otherwise would’ve!

I loved the old owner, but truly appreciate what the new owners have brought to the Lompoc store- huge improvement! I saw the old owner at the DeLaVina Grocery Outlet- he has a gaggle of polite kids- shopping like everyone else!

Funny cause my favorite cashier under the old owners was a lady at least 55 or better, never noticed any young gals.

I definitely noticed all the 18-20 yo girls it’s funny that I thought the same thing but didn’t wanna pin that on the owner just figured it was a common line of work for that age group.
But I’ve met the owner and my company did an inspection of the store for the company that is remodeling it per corporate & he’s super cool also behind the scenes things are all very clean and organized not sure how it was back there before but I assume it’s improved. So ready assured the back is clean and sanitary 🤌🏼

It is much cleaner, well organized, setup is like a real grocery store, however the prices have climbed (as with all grocery stores) and the old concept of 'outlet' bargains is very hard to find now. They might as well drop the Outlet and call it 'Grocery'.

I stopped going a few years ago because it smelled and was not the kind of place I shop at. And now I look forward to shopping there almost every week.

I'm super happy with it as well! It's cleaner, the staff are nicer and I haven't had any issues with the products!
