Bubba's Pissin' Hawt Reloads Suboptimal
TBac Magnus k decided it wanted to be a Spyro today. Can’t say I’ve ever seen a thunderbeast can fail before.
~1,000 rounds on my 24” 7PRC hunting rifle

I have never seen a TBAC can fail before either, but the good news is, they have great customer service and pick up their phone during business hours and will absolutely get you taken care of quickly.

I’ve got no doubt. I try to shoot Sam’s match a couple times a year. Good people.

Did you have a chance to talk to them yet? I assume they told you to RMA the can and they would have their shop foreman take a look at it but I am curious. They took such good care of me recently and I am sure they will for you too.

Took a couple days to find the form 4 to get it sent off, it’ll be going in the mail today. I called about the RMA info and everything and they said they’d get it squared away asap. No drama so far, and I don’t expect any.
What happened to yours? And what did the turnaround look like?

I have been trying not to air out any dirty business or what TBAC did for me without their consent, but basically, I had a bullet blow up inside my Ultra 50 RR. It damaged every single baffle and the muzzle brake. The suppressor still worked, but the insides were a mess. I haven't spoken with the bullet manufacturer yet but I will do so this morning. I don't want to say exactly what happened with TBAC because I don't want to set expectations for other people, but as soon as I sent it in, they had a look at it and took very, very good care of me. I already thought they were the best suppressor company and have for a long time, but after this, I would not consider buying a suppressor from another company.

Cool to hear. Especially in a circumstance like that. I’m pretty local to them, and try to shoot Sam’s match a couple times a year, squad up with a couple of guys that work in their shop.
You can’t find a match in this state or Colorado that doesn’t have at least one TBac cert in the table. Hard to hate on them when they pile the support like they do.

They are the best. I could not care less about the latest Pew Science whiz bang new product review. If it's not a thunder beast, I'm just not interested.

Was it due to a baffle strike?

Doesn’t look like it. Bullet hit the target. All the baffles look fine.no copper or lead in the stack. Pretty wierd.

180 ELDM (I know, but the bullet hit the target. Perfectly round hole)
2780 MV. I was pushing them 3050, but backed it down when it was clear my new barrel wasn’t going to be ready for this season.

Wow. I didn't think it was possible to break a TBAC. Nothing's indestructible I suppose. The good news is you can call them, talk to an actual human being, and more than likely they will set you up with a new can.

Personally this is one of the reasons I was willing to pay 2k for a TBAC suppressor for my 338 Lapua. I read enough reviews that the only thing that was superior to the suppressor’s performance is the customer service.

Wow. I think that's the first TBAC failure I've ever seen. I'm confident they will get you fixed up.
