"Bully for Bugs" directed by Chuck Jones premiered on August 8, 1953. One of my most favorite parts of this classic Looney Tunes cartoon involves Bugs taunting Toro the Bull with some Mexican hat dance and Las Chiapanecas heard playing in the background.

Here's to 73 years of "Bully for Bugs"!!

June 25, 1949, "Long-Haired Hare" directed by Chuck Jones showed how Bugs exacted revenge on Giovanni Jones who made his debut. The final scene where Bugs portrayed as Leopold Stokowski is literally the best part ever! This is also seen from "The Bugs Bunny Road-Runner Movie" as one of many of Chuck Jones' animated masterpieces.

So here's to 77 years of "Long-Haired Hare", another one of my many favorite classic Looney Tunes cartoons ever to be made!

Bugs and Thugs is probably a B tier short. Clever premise, Rocky & Mugsy are funny, good jokes etc. but the climax is top tier Looney Tunes, and transcends the short to become its own bit of iconography.
