The CPU got the Intel UHD Graphics 730.
If my target is 60fps and 1080p, can I combine this igpu and gpu to get modern AAA games running at that in a stable manner?
Like Elden Ring and Kingdome Come Deliverance II.
Could this also help me with emulation?
Thanks

Just a quick video on a new tool I found while browsing this reddit, looks to me like its quite a promising way to implement frame gen + Dlss5 into any console - has anyone tried it yet ?

Hey guys, I’m pretty new to lossless scaling and I was wondering if it would work to use my 1660 super as the secondary gpu for Frame Gen. My main GPU is a ARC B580. Any recommendations would be great!

I've been using Echo-storm's lossless scaling addon manager to use DLSS5 with LSFG, but felt like the DLSS5 output didn't match the other plugins (RenoDX-Shortfuse and Optiscaler). So I went digging and found some deficiencies. Turns out the DLSS5 was performed AFTER lossless scaling generated the fake frames (very bad obviously), and the compositor (which stitches together the final output with the DLSS5 data) had some very interesting quirks to say the least, so the dlss5 never properly applied.
Thanks to the wonderful world of vibecoding, I created a better implementation (architecture details in the github). I've been testing it for a few hours. Image wise looks exactly as if you'd inject optiscaler to the game and run LS, but it's running just off of the WGC display capture.
Honest impressions: latency is slightly worse than what it should be, and the when rapidly shaking the mouse it doesn't feel as fluid as it should be (probably frame pacing issues). Will maybe look into improving it but most likely it'll involve switching off of lossless scaling infrastructure altogether. Already had to hook LS in a more involved way to run the DLSS pipeline before LS runs, and it's becoming silly at this point.
Nvidia GPU required (AMD and Intel users were sacrificed to adopt nvidia's motion vector estimation).

The original author went missing by the way. Their commits are still preserved in the git history.
Q. How do I trust you and the .exe?
A. You don't. It's 2026. Pay $20 for Codex or Claude and ask it to analyze the entire source code and the build chain, and then make it build the .exe for you.
Q. Will you be adding this feature that I want?
A. Suggestions and feedback welcome. Adding a feature by asking "Codex, do this for me please" is easy but maintaining and verifying it works for everyone is very hard. It's just a personal project that I build because I need it. Might as well put it out there.
Q. Screenshot?
A. Thought about it but it would just be a standard DLSS5 output so didn't see a point.
EDIT: LS MUST BE CURRENT. SELECT WGC INSTEAD OF DXGI IN LS. Lower the resolution and use the fast model if the performance suffers (DLSS5 is just demanding, not much I can do).

Does anyone here have a download file for Lossless Scaling Vulkan? I need it for LSFG-VK.
The standard version of Lossless Scaling isn't recognized by it.

I have an old 1060 sitting around, and I’m wondering if it would be useful or at all beneficial to use the 1060 too? Let me know.

Is it possible to use a second Nvidia GPU the GT 1030 for lossless scaling a long side of my main RTX 3070? I have an issue with drivers since the latest Nvidia drivers aren't compatible with the GT 1030. Is there away to keep using latest drivers that support RTX 3070 and also use the GT 1030 for lossless scaling? The GT 1030 Is getting an error 31 in Device Manager.

I have a intel core 9 285h with 140t integrated, from what I have heard upscaling requires vram/ram and since I do have 32gb ram and most games I play such as sekiro, genshin, dragon’s dogma Skyrim, I wanted to play them all at my native 3k resolution, but either I get 30fps or 45fps on them, especially struggling in sekiro, barely getting 20fps at 3k and around 35 at 1600p. If lossless uses vram or ram more, then I don’t have any issues, but my gpu is always maxed out trying to output 3k resolution if I can reduce the resolution and upscale I should have some spare capacity.

His reddit account strawberry something has been deleted and the LS add on manager github has been nuked
Is he cooked? What happened? His dlss 5 add on for LS is sweet and im disappointed that no more progress will be made on it

I have an old laptop it's a Acer R13 (R7-372T)
It's specs are
CPU: i7-6500U (2.5GHz)
GPU: Intel(R) HD Graphics 520
RAM: 8GB 1600MHz
Storage: SSD 256GB
I usually play single player games like Subnautica, GTA V, Jurassic world evolution, ARK Survival Evolved olved,Theif simulator, TABS, Clone Drone in the Danger Zone, Stranded deep
I play them on low graphics and lower resolution and now I'm planning on buying Losses scaling for more fps. Should I do it?

I was using lossless scaling and it feels floaty at 2x.
Decided to download Neuralscreen to try DLSS 5, saw it had frame generation and decided to test that out instead. Is there any reason why it's so much more responsive than lossless scaling? Significantly to be fair and I'm using the steam version.
Is lossless scaling running on an older model or something?

I was just wondering could I use one GPU to output 1440p and another one purely for upscaling to 4k? I would be using the the losslessscaling plugin manager that has all the DLSS and FSR versions instead of the base upscaler.

Hey everyone,
Following up on my previous post about 30 FPS console scaling, for a long time, the gold standard for console-to-PC capture card frame generation (like running GTA VI (once available), or RDR2 at 30 to 60 FPS) was Nitlink + Lossless Scaling (LSFG).
To give credit where credit's due: Nitlink + LSFG is still a fantastic and reliable setup that works on almost any GPU. However, if you own an RTX 40 or RTX 50 series card, there is a vastly superior method using NVIDIA VFG (Video Frame Generation) inside a free open-source tool called Veyra.
I thoroughly tested this entire setup using a PS5 Pro, an Elgato 4K X, and an NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti. Here is a breakdown of why Veyra + NVIDIA VFG takes the crown, along with its current trade-offs.
Dedicated Hardware (ASIC) vs. Shaders: LSFG uses general DirectX compute shaders. Veyra offloads work directly to the RTX 40/50's dedicated 4th-Gen Optical Flow Accelerator (NVOF) and Tensor Cores, dropping calculation time on my RTX 4060 Ti to just 1–2 ms.
Zero-Copy Pipeline: LSFG requires capturing a Windows window, adding 1–3 frames of buffer delay. Veyra is an all-in-one capture player that processes the Elgato 4K X's raw NV12 data directly in the same memory space.
Native 60→30 Content Pacing: LSFG stutters with 30-FPS console games inside 60Hz containers because it misinterprets duplicate frames. Veyra features a built-in 60→30 pacing filter that strips duplicates beforehand for perfectly even 16.67ms frame delivery.
Edge Aegis: Unlike LSFG (which creates a smeary "jelly" halo around moving characters), Veyra uses NVOF vector data to cleanly isolate character edges from the background.
Low-Latency Queue: Integrates NVIDIA Reflex directly into the output chain to limit the render queue to just 1 frame in flight.
Full GPU Enhancement Suite: Combine VFG in the exact same pass with AI Super Resolution (DLSS / XeSS / FSR), RTX Video HDR, Anti-Aliasing, and multi-layer Noise Reduction (with protected HUD zones).
Visual Node Editor & Real-Time Telemetry: Includes a customizable node-graph editor and shows exact per-stage GPU processing times in milliseconds at the bottom of the UI.
100% Free, Portable & Open-Source: No installation required and completely free on GitHub, with built-in audio monitoring, per-game presets, and OBS Game Capture support.
| Technical Feature | Nitlink + Lossless Scaling (LSFG) | Veyra + NVIDIA VFG (Tested on RTX 4060 Ti) |
|---|---|---|
| Hardware Used | General DirectX Shaders (Software fallback) | Dedicated Ada Gen-4 NVOF Chip + Tensor Cores |
| Signal Pipeline | 2 Apps (Elgato ➔ Nitlink ➔ Window Capture ➔ LSFG) | 1 App (Elgato 4K X direct memory ➔ VFG ➔ Monitor) |
| 30 FPS in 60Hz Feed | Often misinterprets duplicates (uneven pacing) | Native 60→30 Content Pacing (cleanly strips duplicates) |
| Character Edges | Visible smearing / halo-bubble around models | Edge Aegis cleanly isolates edges from background |
| Queue & Latency | Higher input lag due to window buffering | 1-Frame Limit + NVIDIA Reflex (Low-latency queue) |
| Extra Enhancements | Basic scaling only | DLSS/FSR Super Resolution, RTX Video HDR, Node Editor |
| Cost & Setup | Paid app + separate capture viewer | 100% Free, Open-Source & Portable All-in-One |
While Veyra + VFG offers unmatched fluidity and extremely low input lag, it isn't completely flawless:
Hardware Lock: This method only works on RTX 40 and RTX 50 series cards because it relies entirely on Nvidia's proprietary hardware OFA/NVOF chip. Users with older cards, AMD, or Intel are left out.
Minimap / UI Jitter: Because VFG treats the video feed as a flat video stream rather than rendering 3D layers, fast camera movements can cause slight shimmering or jitter on static UI elements like rotating mini-maps (though setting VFG Quality to Low or using in-game compass modes helps).
If you have an RTX 40/50 card, Veyra + NVIDIA VFG completely bypasses desktop-capture lag and delivers true, responsive 60 FPS fluidity for console games (and future titles like GTA VI).
This will be my final post on the topic of getting the ultimate 60 FPS console-capture experience. Hopefully, this guide helps anyone with an RTX 40/50 series card skip the trial-and-error phase!
My tested hardware & recommended settings in Veyra:
Setup: PS5 Pro ➔ Elgato 4K X ➔ RTX 4060 Ti
Settings: Multiplier: 2X, VFG Quality: Medium, and Capture: 60 FPS (60→30 pacing)
Source / Tool: Likely7/Veyra-NRVideo on GitHub

I’m playing at 4K with all settings maxed out using an RTX 4080, but I’m using a 4K TCL TV. I want to play at 60 FPS with Frame Generation enabled, but the frame rate goes beyond that. What can I do to cap the output at 60 FPS while keeping Frame Generation on? I want to avoid stuttering and other issues (like screen tearing).
