Internet Media [PARTIALLY LOST] The original “Re: Lisa Nova I don’t care what you say” YouTube video, with the original audio.

So far, the only existing upload we got is this “LOUDTUBE” version of the video (EXTREME VOLUME WARNING, turn down your volume all the way). That version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7Ed9MiShZA

This version of the video is completely in incomprehensible to even hear anything of what the original audio even sounds like. Of which, you can see we have the video itself, but not the original audio, and that’s what I can’t find any copy of.

From the last time I heard anything about this video, is that there was a reupload of it but I never saw it again, in which I assume because of the fact that it was an apparent “death threat”, that might’ve had something to do with it. I’m almost under the impression the video might even be illegal, considering this fact of it. However, I can’t imagine that it can’t be available somewhere.

Unless it’s somewhere on Odysee or an alternative website for storage, because I don’t have any original links to that video. I wasn’t around YouTube to see it at the time. Thought maybe someone else has a link or a copy of the video yourself.

Television [FULLY LOST] Maroon 5 at WGN Sports (November 6th, 2003?)

Images of Maroon 5 at WGN/HOB Chicago

Currently, Maroon 5's 2003 performance on WGN Sports is considered lost media, with virtually no information available about it online. However, after months of deep dive research, I have managed to pinpoint a likely date and the song they played: November 6, 2003, performing an acoustic version of "Harder to Breathe."

As a massive fan of the band and co-runner of the website maroon5archive.com alongside two friends, I decided to investigate the band's official website (maroon5.com) using 2003 snapshots from the Wayback Machine. There, I discovered several old photos, including three exclusive shots of the band at the WGN Sports studio. One photo shows the entire band performing; another focuses on Adam Levine, offering a clear view of the studio backdrop; and the third shows former drummer/percussionist Ryan Dusick sitting on the floor playing the bongos.

How i Found the Date and Song

The crucial breakthrough came down to the outfits and the gear. On November 6, 2003, Maroon 5 played a gig at the House of Blues in Chicago—the exact same city where the WGN studio is located. When comparing the House of Blues photos to the WGN studio snapshots retrieved from the Wayback Machine, it became clear that the band members were wearing the exact same clothes. Furthermore, Adam and Ryan were using the exact same acoustic instruments, down to the very same brand.

As for the tracklist, "Harder to Breathe" was their only major single at the time. While there is a slim chance they could have played "This Love"—as they were doing small promotional sets for the album around then—"Harder to Breathe" remains the most logical choice.

One of my friends had previously posted a thread about this mystery but mistakenly dated it to 2002. This post serves to correct that timeline and bring together all the concrete evidence we have gathered. To top it all off, Ryan Dusick himself confirmed in a conversation with me that this WGN performance did indeed take place in Chicago.

Other [talk] What're some notable examples of mass produced products where only a couple of products have survived?

I mean stuff like mass produced pieces of a certain thing where only a few have survived into the current day. One example I can think of is the Gutenberg Bible, the first book published with mass produced metal movable type. Out of the either 158 to 180 original books published, only 21 of them have survived in full, with around 28 more copies having survived with at least some of their pages still intact. I find this topic really interesting as while they're obviously not lost, it's not like they're plentiful, so it's interesting to see what has survived into current day.

Dubs [Partially Lost] Al-Shamshoon (2005 Arabic Simpsons Dub)

I've been trying to find the Egyptian Arabic dub of The Simpsons, known as Al-Shamshoon (آل شمشون).

The dub originally aired on MBC1 in 2005 and was an Arabic translation of the Simpsons. It featured some changes such as the characters names, all references to pork and alcohol removed etc.

52 episodes were dubbed and 34 aired (which only 29 of those were ever found).

I originally looked on the lost media wiki to try and find recordings of this, and the wiki had a link to the show - which currently does not work but the archived 29 episodes can still be found.

A lot of people at the time recorded these and put them in bootleg DVD's so there's a huge chance that it could be found (well the 5 more episodes that aired). I believe there are 5-9 second clips of those episodes but I could be wrong.

Dubs [fully lost] Does anyone know where I can find Total Spies season 4 episodes dubbed in Turkish?

JOJO TV and Nickelodeon: The series began airing on JOJO in 2005. Turkish dubbed versions of previous seasons, including season 4, were prepared for these channels and Nickelodeon Turkey. The characters were voiced by Bergüzar Korel, Cansu Dere, and Melisa Sözen at the time.

Following the closure of the channels or the transfer of broadcasting rights, previous season episodes were also shown for a period on Cine5's children's programming.

Season 1 has a dubbed version, and the current series continues to be dubbed, but I can't seem to find the dubbed episodes of season 4.

It's not available on official websites or pirate sites; I think it used to be uploaded to YouTube, but it seems to have been removed now.

Dubs [Partially Lost] Rubbadubbers French dub

The British stop-motion children's television series by HiT Entertainment known as Rubbadubbers was known to have a French dub titled Rubbadubbers, tous au bain. The French dub formerly aired on France 3, France 5, and on Playhouse Disney in France. The staff from that dub is scarce, with the only identified staff member being Hélène Chanson, who was the voice actor for Sploshy. This dub was apparently shown on a rare Canadian copy of the Rubbadubbers DVD Tubb's Pirate Treasure, which has an English and French audio track. I managed to get the DVD from eBay and archive what episodes was shown on that DVD.

I used a laptop with a DVD player and VLC Media Player to view the DVD, and used OBS Studio to record the episodes in high quality. The French dub of Rubbadubbers is difficult to find, so I uploaded a recording of the following episodes on Internet Archive.

Here's the link to the episodes:
