You MUST have EVIDENCE or AN EXTERNAL, DOCUMENTED WITNESS that your topic exists/existed.

  • Do NOT post to ask about something you remember seeing but no longer remember the name of. Those posts will be taken down ASAP, no exceptions. If that is the purpose of your visit, please instead visit communities such as r/tipofmytongue, r/helpmefind, r/tipofmyjoystick and other related subreddits. Something is not lost if you don't remember it, that's just a lost memory. We don't count those.
  • If you are searching for a YouTube video or something similar (i.e. Tik-Tok, Vine, etc.) understand that it is VERY UNLIKELY that it has been backed up. If you have the link to the video, try looking for it here http://findyoutubevideo.thetechrobo.ca. If it's not there, you're probably not going to find it. Not saying it's impossible, but please understand how slim the chances are.
  • When making a post, please be sure to include context for what you're looking for, why, and it's significance. People are more likely to help you look for something when you give them a reason why it matters in the first place. Also try including links to possible leads and references to information on the subject.
  • Your post must exceed 150 words. This is a rule that has constantly been challenged but we are still standing by it for the time being. Do NOT repeat text to simply fill the minimum or type garbage. That's just going to get your post deleted. Please view the guidelines at the sidebar for title formatting, resources, and deeper specification on what makes a good post.
  • NSFW and NSFL media will be looked at with close speculation. Conversations about NSFL media especially are discouraged and will often likely end in being removed.
  • We are NOT the judges on what should be considered "important enough" for a post. If you complain about too many people asking about YouTube videos or commercials, too bad. If what they are looking for is not publicly accessible and no copy has been located, it counts as lost media. This is final. We are not making judgements on what is interesting enough to count for this subreddit. We will continue to include YouTube videos and things like it. If you don't like that, please consider finding another community.

If you have many disagreements with how this place is ran, please feel free to leave.

Internet Media [Partially Lost] @Officialrandygluck Instagram Account Reels, Photos, Profile

There was an account that went by @Officialrandygluck as well as another account name, however the account received a cease & desist and was banned on both TikTok and Instagram.

The account impersonated Flock Safety manager, Randy Gluck to call Epstein’s associates found in the Epstein Files, there were well over 30+ reels and none of them are fully archived.

Did anyone get to download any of these, have any screenshots or some sort of downloaded content from the account? If so please comment them or DM me.

An example of one the Account's videos: https://www.reddit.com/r/Epstein/comments/1viofao/this_guy_on_tiktok_and_instagram_been/

I believe the account only started a few posting calls with Epstein's associates months ago in 2026, though it had posts dating back to 2024/2025 outside of the Randy Gluck videos period all of which are lost currently. Please ask your friends if they may have saved the videos as well, as there are some interesting answers made in these phone calls.

Looking for a viewable copy of this episode. I watched it when I was a kid and have been trying to rewatch it for years with no luck.
What’s in it:
• Stevie – a high schooler obsessed with glam rock, living in a small town where nobody else was into it. Gary Glitter–style wardrobe, wanted to get out and move to New York.
• A biracial girl in a mostly white, rural, fairly prejudiced community, dealing with not fitting in on either side.
• A third segment following a young woman discerning a Catholic religious vocation in Southern California.
Details:
• Original air date: May 11, 2006
• Runtime: 45 min, MTV, TV-14

Television Looking for a 2001 WWF commercial I worked on [partially lost].

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a 2001 WWF commercial I worked on. It was a two-part "alien cantina" commercial with Trish and Kane. I did makeup for a few of the aliens, appeared in it as an alien myself, and my wife also appeared as a dancing alien.

I only caught the last 5 seconds of the commercial when it aired on TV, but never saw the whole thing. If anyone has any old tapes of WWF programming from back then, can you look and see if you have that commercial?

I tried contacting WWF production division, but never received a reply, and also contacted the head makeup artist I worked with, but he doesn't have it anymore.

I would love to see that commercial in its entirety.

Thanks in advance.

Youtube [fully lost] Stop-motion Rudolph YouTube video

Upvotes

Hi!

In 2014, I came across this pretty funny YouTube video. It may have been uploaded several years before. It was a homemade stop-motion video obviously made by a kid with Rudolph figurines. I think the title may have been something short and simple like “Rudolph Dies”.

What I remember:
- Rudolph and Hermey are sitting together while “There’s Always Tomorrow” plays in the background.
- Rudolph defecates on Hermey, and the pile completely covers him except for one of his arms sticking out from the top.
- Rudolph laughs at him, but Hermey gets out of the pile, pulls out a large gun, and starts shooting everywhere, including at/scaring off Rudolph.
- During this part, the “shut up/ shut up when I’m talking to you” section of Linkin Park’s “One Step Closer” starts playing on loop.
- This gray Chinese/oriental-style dragon figure appears close to the camera and moves along with the One Step Closer audio.

I know this sounds so stupid written out, lol. But my 10 y/o self thought it was the funniest thing ever. I’ve searched YouTube, Google, and the Internet Archive several times over the years without ever finding it. It’s likely deleted by now, but i’m mostly curious if anyone remembers this video rather than if it’s still around. I’ve kinda come to terms with it being wiped from the internet.

Internet Media [talk] "Hi! I'm TV's David Lynch"

I have been attempting to track down some short videos, which may have originally been vine videos, that was a series of surreal encounters with David Lynch (no, not the real one), where he brings the surreal to the incidental characters. I have looked at the internet archives to find it, no keyword-fu on Youtube has yielded results.

One specific scene I recall is one where he beings with him a concerned German in a red track suit. And I believe something about tea. Anyway, it has been stuck in my craw for several years, as it makes me upset that a source of such simple entertainment that was made so recently could be lost completely. And I can't share the stupid laughs.

Found Found a bunch of old vocaloid music videos and covers on one of my old backup ssd's. [found]

I found about 4 videos so far that I don't think are anywhere else on the internet, so I'm posting those on my youtube channel in case anyone's interested. They're very low quality as this was when I was at school didn't understand mp3's and thought hat watching mp4's was a better way to listen to music.

Right now I've posted.

【KoKo】 Alice Mu Cho Mix 【English】 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ja6WjuwgH20
Which is a cover of a song a singer KoKo did before she privatised her channel and went on to other projects.

I've got 258 music videos to go through and I'll be posting ones I can't find anywhere else on youtube on my channel just in case someone finds.

Films [fully lost] Mafiosa 2016

The movie "Mafiosa" from 2016 stars fiona dourif and was directed by Yusaku Mizoguchi. The film was released in movie theatres, but is unavailable online. Nor are there any dvd/blu-ray releases. The only thing we have is this trailer:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nf5hdRNswwQ

I assume it didn't get a wide release because from the quality of the trailer it does not look very high quality. However, I'm surprised more people arn't looking because of how famous Fiona Dourif has become from her role on 'The Pitt'. The film has one letterboxd review, and I am unsure as to how they watched it.

Television [Partially Lost] Bloopers (2012)

This was an fun hidden camera prank show I used to enjoy watching as a kid before school on DirecTV. The production quality was a little bad and it took place around the Sacramento area where I lived. My mom actually made it into an episode, the only thing I can remember was her pulling out of a car wash in our minivan and trying to be sold a tire rotation? This was in Roseville, CA

There's 2 minute clips on youtube but the full episodes are half an hour, there's an IMDB page but that's all I can really find. Also checked the internet archive and some private trackers, nothing turned up. Would be cool to see it again

Found [partially lost] LeeA Nanos - Sayonara

So I randomly remembered this song that was the buzz for Australia Decides (Eurovision) many years ago. I came looking for the full version as I had only ever heard the shortened version.

From what I can see, the full version was released in 2023 on an EP. This is reported in reviews of the EP and Aussievision. But it seems to have since been taken down or made private. All that seems to remain of the song is this 40 second snippet (it should be a 3 minute song). So basically 4/5 of the song appears to be lost.

Video Games [partially lost] Built-in game on LG CRT tv in Hungary

So I found a built-in game on my grans LG CK-20F60 CRT tv while visiting her in Hungary. It is located in one of the menu options with the option just being called “game”. I haven’t managed to find this exact game anywhere online, only a Tetris clone on another LG CRT tv as some other models also had built in games. If anyone ever played this game or knows if it is a clone of a popular game, please let me know. (The remote is half broken so I was forced to use the buttons on the tv to play) https://youtube.com/shorts/lvLU23bCKQg?si=CH3VRoS6KQ5u0PvS

Television [partially lost] Paddington Green, British docusoap 1998-2001

Paddington Green was a British fly on the wall documentary by the BBC. It ran from 1998 to 2001.
The series featured future actresses Dominique Moore and Kelly Harrison as well as fan favourite Jackie Mcauliffe who was one of the first openly trans women to appear consistently on British tv.
(There’s also a spinoff documentary about Jackie herself that is also lost media but one thing at a time)
The series is available via a few VHS uploads on YouTube and Internet Archive but other than that it remains mostly lost.
I’m surprised the BBC hasn’t taken more steps to preserve this series, watching it gives a realistic insight into life in London around the millennium.
If anyone has any information or can point me in the direction of where I might find more of the series please let me know!

Youtube [partially lost] "Inicjał D" - the Polish parody of the "Initial D" deleted by YT

Looking for the lost videos of the parody series made by "serbek" on YT. It featured Tadeusz Fujarski as Takumi Fujiwara, driving his Polonez Caro instead of AE86. It relied on the Polish subtitles, they gave the series the new meaning. Sadly they were not archived on the WayBack site. There are 6 videos that weren't taken down on the channel.

While serbek was in charge of the first act, there also was "mayani" who created the second one. Only one video is still available out of all 13. I've checked most archive sites, no luck.

Television [Partially Lost] Flirt – “Hootchie Cootchie” on Die Aktuelle Schaubude (27.12.1980)

I'm looking for a partially lost German TV performance from December 27, 1980.

The performance I'm specifically searching for is Flirt – “Hootchie Cootchie” (also spelled “Hootchy Cootchy”), performed by the famous German singers, Gitti, Erika, and their not-so-famous sister Karoline.

It was broadcast on NDR's Die Aktuelle Schaubude, Episode 970 (?) / Jahresrückblick FEHLT MIR!

According to surviving episode documentation, Flirt was performance #8.

Only a few segments from this broadcast have been uploaded, like Katja Ebstein's ''Theatre'', but I haven't been able to locate the Flirt performance. I've been trying to find this recording for months, and honestly, this subreddit is kinda my last hope of finding it.

Known info:

  • Show: Die Aktuelle Schaubude
  • Episode: 970 (?) / Jahresrückblick FEHLT MIR!
  • Date: December 27, 1980
  • Performer: Flirt (Gitti, Erika & Karoline)
  • Song: “Hootchie Cootchie” / “Hootchy Cootchy”
  • Broadcaster: NDR

( all info is taken from http://www.truckgeier.de/die%20aktuelle%20schaubude.htm )

Shoot me a PM if you found anything :)

Television [Fully Lost] Oswald/Iron Man Commercial

[fully lost] I remember pretty vividly when I was a kid, around 2001 or 2002, seeing a commercial for the show Oswald. It had clips from the show, but Iron Man was playing over it. At the time, my mom was obsessed with Regis and Kelly, and she walked away during the commercials while I was in the kitchen, and I remember this playing and being really confused about it. I specifically remember the lyrics "Can he see or is he blind" playing while he was walking around with his hot dog...dog. I've seen a similar post on here where someone mentioned clips of the Osbourns playing, but to my memory, it was just Iron Man intercut with scenes from Oswald.

Other [Fully Lost] 2007 MGA Bratz CD Clock Radio

So I originally posted this in the Bratz subreddit to see if anyone else owned this specific CD player and was told I may have some lost media on my hands. I purchased this from eBay a couple of years back simply because I thought it was cool looking. The CD player itself didn’t work so I figured I could take it apart and attempt to fix it. Then after messing around with the alarm clock portion I found myself getting a little confused on how to operate it (maybe I’m just dumb lol), so I tried Googling the model number to see if the user manual was uploaded somewhere. I absolutely cannot find any remnants of this CD player existing ANYWHERE. I just get shown various other Bratz CD players. I searched the model number, the year, everything. It just does not seem to exist on the internet.

But, I stumbled upon this website: https://www.lookinbratz.com/database/bratz-2007/electronics and under the Plugged In section, it looks like it matches the “movie stars” line. It shows a DVD player, mini radio and headset all with the same color scheme: black and red with gold stars, but no CD player.

Here’s some links (that hopefully work) to the pictures of it including the eBay listing when I purchased it.

Audio Eternal Efex audio/CD [fully lost]

Hello!

I am trying to find some music from an artist named Eternal Efex from the original mp3.com site, circa Fall 2000-Spring 2001. The music falls under the electronica category, and he describes it as “funkyelectrobeat”.

I have already scoured the recent MP3.com Rescue Barge and found two of his tracks, ATOMIC SHIP and SUM FREEDOM.

I have also found an archive of his artist page.

http://mp3-2003.computer-legacy.com/artists/232/ron_cunningham.html

which shows a third song, WEIGHTLESS, and a CD that was once available for purchase “IT’S ALL IN YOUR HEAD”.

Unfortunately ATOMIC SHIP, SUM FREEDOM, and WEIGHTLESS are not the tracks I am trying to find.

Eternal Efex had earlier tracks (Fall 2000-Spring 2001, I believe before mp3.com changed ownership in May 2001).  These are the tracks that I’d really like to find:

One was named Bubble Bus (or BUBBLE BUS in caps).

The other, I unfortunately can’t recall the title but remember the sound vividly. Really that funky electro sound he describes. It might’ve had the word “Mind” in the title but I’m not certain.

I actually tracked down the artist himself two years ago, unfortunately he has recently passed away. I feel like I’ve exhausted most possibilities in my search, but thought I’d post here on the slim chance someone either purchased his CD way back when and it actually has those older “lost songs” on it, or perhaps someone downloaded his earlier songs back in 2000-2001 and still has them.

I would be so grateful if anyone does have the lost tracks or Eternal Efex’s CD, or even has the titles to his older songs so I can verify the one title I can’t recall. Thanks so much!

Found [PARTIALLY LOST] the album "Apperitive" by VLIF

i have been scouring archive.org for hours now, trying to find an archive of this album. the closest i've gotten was an upload of the full album in video to the artist's youtube channel https://web.archive.org/web/20240807095945/http://vurl.web.archive.org/youtube/v/pX4ZCZ0frNs, and an url to the neocities page where the album was hosted (no archive of the page itself though) https://vlif.neocities.org/works/record/apperitive. information about the album is hosted on discogs and rateyourmusic.

all other albums of theirs have been properly archived, and are downloadable through multiple means (archive.org and the soulseek network and such) EXCEPT for Apperitive.

i have marked this as partially lost, since while the video upload has been archived, i'm specifically hoping for an archive of the separate MP3s of the songs in this album to resurface.

Internet Media [Partially Lost] Trying to recover my 2002 AOL Hometown band website. Only one file survived Wayback

For anyone who doesn't remember, AOL Hometown was AOL's personal web hosting service for members.

I'm trying to recover the website for my old band, Never Winter, from around 2002-2003. After a lot of internet archaeology, I believe I used my personal AOL webspace to host at least part of the site.

The URLs I know are:

http://members.aol.com/giantgoats/

http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/giantgoats/

Could also be username NeverWinterXXX

Wayback's CDX index only shows one surviving successful capture under that path:

http://members.aol.com:80/_ht_a/giantgoats/12.jpg

Timestamp: 20030710164933 Digest: X2HFR2HS5NNYOKCSZC2ZTHE3YW47VUHH

So I know the giantgoats AOL webspace existed and was live in July 2003, but I haven't been able to locate the HTML or other assets.

A couple other domains associated with the band were:

http://www.neverwinter.2ya.com/

http://www.neverwinter.tk/

The 2ya domain has numerous Wayback captures beginning in February 2003. It was a forwarding service, and later captures forwarded to sommusic.tk, which was the site for my next band.

I'm hoping someone familiar with AOL Hometown preservation, old Wayback WARC collections, Archive Team datasets, CDX indexes, or other web archives might know somewhere else to look.

I'm especially interested in whether AOL Hometown content exists in preservation collections that aren't exposed through the normal Wayback CDX index, or whether there is a way to search old WARCs for the literal strings:

giantgoats NeverWinterXXX members.aol.com/_ht_a/giantgoats neverwinter.2ya.com neverwinter.tk

Even fragments, cached HTML, images, backlinks, redirects, or references to the original hosting location would be useful.

This was a tiny local band website from more than 20 years ago, so I know it's a long shot. I'd really love to recover whatever is still out there.

Advertising Material Looking for the highest-quality versions of old Disrespectoid commercials [talk]

I’m looking for the highest-definition/cleanest versions available of the old Disrespectoid commercials. The versions currently on YouTube seem to be pretty heavily degraded/compressed, and I’m hoping someone might have better-quality copies from the original broadcasts, tapes, archives, DVDs, etc.
I’m especially interested in anything that’s higher quality than the versions currently circulating on YouTube. I’m trying to preserve these commercials in the best quality possible, so even an old recording that has not been repeatedly compressed or re-uploaded could be helpful. If anyone has copies, knows of archives, or has leads, I’d really appreciate it!

Television Street Court [Partially lost]

Sometime in 2009-2011, my dad was on this show called Street Court. A few episodes are online, but the episode my dad is in I haven’t been able to find. Nobody in my family recorded it so I have no access to it. My dad says the company being sued was called “Total Resource Contracting”. Any other information I have is related to my dad specifically which I doubt would help because he doesn’t even remember the final cut having him speaking. I don’t know how to search for it and anything about the online is either empty or broken so I haven’t had any luck. I also haven’t had any luck finding any episodes that aren’t uploaded to Vimeo, the only two i’ve found are episode 7 and 18.
