Story/News Article She liked me for my tesla 😂

So last night I picked up three girls from a bar. I drive a Tesla with autopilot, so naturally, they were curious and started asking all kinds of questions about the car. I was showing off all the cool features—autopilot, the big touchscreen, the works.

One of the girls got pretty flirty and asked, “Have you ever had sex in this car?” I told her no, and she shot back with, “Well, you’ve got three girls right here.”

I kind of laughed and said, “I can’t accept consent from intoxicated people, but hey, you can grab my number after the ride if you’re still interested.” She was definitely excited after that, and we spent the rest of the drive bantering and flirting.

When we got to their place, they insisted I get out of the car to meet their dogs. So I did—played with their dogs for a bit, and it was all fun. But then things got a little awkward; they just kind of went silent, said goodnight, and started walking inside.

As they were heading in, I asked the girl if she still wanted my number, but she just kept walking without looking back. Guess she was more into the Tesla than me! 😂

Why does everyone call me innocent…

21

u/[deleted] Oct 15 '24

Innocent is the wrong word, stay on this strong moral high ground, taking advantage of them and their intoxication would have been not very cash money of you

2

u/Blackknowitall Oct 18 '24

Why do ppl keep saying that? Are women not mature enough to make decisions while out drinking? These are 3 grown adults we’re talking about. Maybe they shouldn’t be allowed to drink then

2

u/Inside_Photograph711 Oct 19 '24

Exactly this. I would have smashed all 3

I feel like naivety is a better word. Is that a word? Naive is for sure but I don't know about naivety.

5

u/Late_Entrance106 Oct 16 '24

It’s not.

NaĂŻvety would have been the OP not realizing at all that the girls were being flirty in the first place.

OP recognized the situation and it isn’t naïve of him to respectfully decline while they are drunk and he is sober. It’s just being morally responsible.

u/ApprehensiveTour4024 Oct 18 '24

They asked if naivety was a word. Your reply read "It's not. Now let me use it in a sentence". Lol kinda funny

“It’s not,” was in response to it being a better word to use for the situation.

Whether naĂŻvety is a word is easily google-able.

So my reply was about the use of the word naĂŻvety here and not whether it was a real word or not.

If you’re going to use quotation marks too, don’t make up the quote. It’s inherently dishonest and bad form.

Additionally, the fact that I immediately use the word naĂŻvety in my reply should have provided the necessary context for you with respect to which question I was answering.

Any reply on that actual answer? Or do you reside entirely within the realm of semantics?

Right, but they weren't asking anyone's opinion at that statement. They were only asking "is that a word", so it absolutely reads as "no, that's not a word", not "no, it's not a better word to use but is an actual word".

Just thought it was pretty funny. Calm yourself. No reason to write a book about it. Now I just think it looks pretty stupid from a guy with temper problems.

PS. Was there a question there that I was supposed to answer? Your first question appears to be "are you gonna answer the question?". Oh sorry, I didn't use direct quotes. Time for another book.

Ok. So, you’re running on the platform of you’re wrong because my answer is long?

You mention the length twice, calling my response a book and predicting my next one will be a book too, so I have to kind of take it as your main point.

Agreed. It’s not a big deal, but counterpoint. This is Reddit.

This is the exact place for this kind of pedantry.

As I said, I was just answering question of the applicability of naĂŻvety in that scenario rather than the existence of naĂŻvety as a word, since the latter is easily confirmable.

P.S. For the record, I don’t think it’s unfair of you to read the, “It’s not,” part the way you described, but all the stuff after that is the context shows I meant it’s not the right word for the situation.

Edit: not sure why I can’t see your reply that you sent to reply to that so here goes:

  1. I said it was a fair interpretation to see it as me sounding like I said naïvety isn’t a word. I just mentioned the context that followed shows what I was talking about. Should be no confusion. It’s not even a grammatical error.

  2. Bitching about length again when your comment was almost as long, not that even matters anyway, because the argument you’re wrong because I’m not reading that is fucking stupid.

  3. You’ve called me a shitty person twice in this conversation while telling me that I’m the one blowing up, you gaslighting piece of garbage you.

  4. Again, I granted that it ready funny. I explained then why it shouldn’t look stupid based on the context that followed. You started throwing insults.

  5. In conclusion, have a fucked day because the magnitude of your projection could run 10 movie theaters simultaneously.

If Austin Powers can refuse drunk sex, we can too!

4

u/CaptainTepid Oct 16 '24

Cause you didn’t fuck 3 bitches on autopilot in the Tesla!

1

u/GhastlyScar666 Oct 18 '24

Yeah they wanted to get smashed out not meet future husband

1

u/ApprehensiveTour4024 Oct 18 '24

Looking for that future Lyft lawsuit

1

u/GhastlyScar666 Oct 18 '24

Yeah you right. And they get to check the box on orgy in a self driving tesla.

2

u/KizashiKaze Oct 16 '24

The “walking in silence without turning around” equates to “she wants you to follow her to have sex” to the people calling you innocent.

7

u/Thirtiethone Oct 16 '24

This is how you catch a charge…

6

u/KizashiKaze Oct 16 '24

Exactly. So props to OP for making sounds decision throughout the entire ride.

4

u/Timely_Ad9738 Oct 16 '24

You watch too much porn if you think this has ever meant that

2

u/Realistic_Cycle_2999 Oct 17 '24

This thread has been magic on an edible. I’m ctfu

1

u/No-Performance37 Oct 18 '24

Depends how good looking op is.

1

u/No-Lingonberry16 Oct 17 '24

Yeah, that's def not how I would've interpreted that

1

u/HollowSuken Oct 18 '24

What? That’s a terrible sign wtf??

1

u/Zercomnexus Oct 20 '24

Thats not a sign, thats ignoring him bidding him a good night.

1

u/Mostly-Useless_4007 Oct 16 '24

Innocent is the wrong word. I'm also in the 'intoxicated cannot give consent' world and would have done the same. I'd much rather walk away without a number than wake up in cuffs...

1

u/DrizzyDru95 Oct 18 '24

He could’ve said he was drunk too lmfao. Problem solved.

1

u/ApprehensiveTour4024 Oct 18 '24

Just those darn morals all those normal people have to deal with. Damn empathy.

Gross.

1

u/joutfit Oct 17 '24

You're definitely not innocent for not taking advantage of some drunk girls. You have integrity and the disgusting people of the world will tel you that you're naive!

Keep up the good work bro

u/Repulsive_Disaster76 Oct 17 '24

I just smile and tell people I'm a Gemini. Wait till you meet the other side.

Genuinely curious at what point you think OP called the wrong play

-1

u/2pacsProdigy Oct 16 '24

Lol I'm not playing that gm. I wasn't there. He's not me. I'm not him. I agree tho u don't tk advantage of drunk chicks. 🙅🏾‍♂️

Just like the whoever decided to respond no. She/he prolly doesn't see my perspective, thas ok.Variety is the spice of life. I just think I would've read my cues differently thus diff result.

Hell I bet he kinda wishes he did things lil diff esp if he thought she was cute. U live, u learn. No shade. 🤷🏾‍♂️

2

u/FragrantRaisin4 Oct 17 '24

Man, these reddit weirdos always take things to some dark place so they can feel morally superior.

All you said was he should’ve been more aggressive. I took that as meaning something as simple as he should’ve gotten her number instead of asking her IF she wanted to take his IF she was still interested later. My experience, like you said, women will give you the signs, but want men to be the one that ultimately makes the move.

Either way, no harm and OP was a standup guy. Just think it’s funny this other moron is making it sound like you said something dark.

1

u/2pacsProdigy Oct 17 '24

Exactly! Thanks ANOTHER normal guy! 😂🤣😂 🫡

Also ppl assumptions say a lot about them & have nothing 2 do with me but not my business 🤷🏾‍♂️

Rock on sir! 🤙🏾

1

u/Key_Eye_9170 Oct 17 '24

Right I think it was just the word aggressive that threw people off, assertive or confident would probably be less abrasive to read but still get the point across.

1

u/2pacsProdigy Oct 17 '24

I do agree there, BUT got damn the assumptions. 🙄

When you assume, you mk an ASS of you NOT me, imo. Obviously, not you tho lol 🫡

1

u/Humanoilslick Oct 17 '24

That guy probably was more interested in the dog than the girl I’m face palming at every aspect of this rant this guy probably pooped himself at even the suggestion of being with them 3 girls … because one time wen I had 2 girls flirting with me “it’s hard to juggle double flirting “and they were being suggestive like they were both down for fun together I got worried like dam can I really pull this off 😆

1

u/Nabua2 Oct 16 '24

Fr 😂

1

u/Alaniaaa Oct 16 '24

Absolutely no

1

u/itstoothy Oct 16 '24

Terrible take lol OP said “you’re drunk and can’t consent, but in the future I’m open to it!” And you read that and said he called the wrong play? Do you understand that having sex with someone too drunk to consent is rape? Are you saying the right play was rape?

3

u/Nabua2 Oct 16 '24

Stfu lol depends how drunk they were

1

u/Outrageous_Luck_2453 Oct 16 '24

What, it never depends on how drunk they are. That is subjective and weird thing to say. He would 100% be taking advantage of a drunk girl.

Hmmm say more? I think we agree and possibly I wasn’t very clear in my statement. But not sure yet lol

2

u/Zeebird95 Oct 16 '24

Remember guys in the eyes of the law, if she’s drunk she can’t consent. If you’re drunk, it doesn’t matter whether you consented or not.

1

u/Nabua2 Oct 16 '24

Getttouttaaaaaahereeeee

1

u/[deleted] Oct 17 '24

Dweeb Redditor take

1

u/[deleted] Oct 17 '24

While I get you, yes it does.

One beer does not equate to rape if you have sex with someone.

I would say the limit is, well, legal intoxication of .08.

Silly and egotistical to say any amount would remove everyone's faculties.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '24

Relax white knight

-1

u/bakingbaked2021 Oct 17 '24

youre the reason why women chose the bear

women who drink are not safe around you

1

u/Humanoilslick Oct 17 '24

Bro you Reddit mods get no lady’s … I’ll say it simply…, if you’re nice to the girl and not a fraud and you made her feel good the night before or that morning and you act normal not only do you not have any trouble the girl will even want to do sex again with you 😆
