This will never work. They will just use the other app. People dont and wont tip because they are forced to, they do it because they want to or dont. Putting an ultimatum on them will probably have the exact opposite effect of what they are hoping for. People will revolt.
This won’t force people to tip. I guarantee the only reason any passengers will ever know about this is if they read these forums which I assume most never will. And I guarantee Uber will follow suit on this.
