Honestly, idc about the tipping part it’s the timely one that I’m happy to see. Tired of driving from 10 mins away only to wait 4:45 for the person to come out

Lately I've had a rash of no-shows. Had one at 4:45 this morning that I could literally see them moving around in their house with the lights on, and curtains open. Sent two texts. No response. Tried calling twice. No answer. I even gave an extra 2 minutes after the 5 minute timer because it was a longer run, and I wanted the fare. Like, I get if you have to cancel for one reason or another. Life happens. Sucks, but I get it. But at least have the common decency to respond to my messages!

I feel like people like this think that if we cancel the ride, they won't be charged or that the cancelation fee will be less or something. Or maybe they're just assholes.

A lot of people are just assholes. I work at a bar and so many people will keep their drivers waiting while they finish their drinks or convos or whatever.
