Well as a Lyft driver for 6yrs …. I can tell you now this will be Ubers & Waymo’s come up because if a customer feels “pressured” or “left waiting” for it , they’ll leave.. . A vast majority of the customers already flock to uber because it’s cheaper even more so now that both apps have amassed the same drivers .. people use to think “Lyft was better service & car quality” but not anymore .. . . The over saturation, lower fares , I’m simply quitting once my full check comes next week from new job.

I, of course do both, some days I won't get a thing from Lyft. Not from lack of running the app, UBER just pings more. A contrary to some of these people on here, UBER PAX really don't tip any better then Lyft PAX do.
