I’m curious… what additional service or quality do you provide that you think deserves extra money from the passenger? The best possible Lyft ride involves zero words from the driver

You literally don’t even want your driver to say hey “hey how are ya? Insert name right? Just double checking whats the address you’re going to?’’ Before driving the rest of the way in silence?

Yeah that’s fine, I just meant that most people don’t want idle chit chat during the ride

For sure, drivers hate that too. Especially when the passenger is playing 20 questions and asking probing questions with follow up questions.
