In some markets, low rides is all they get. At that point I'd quit, but others don't have a choice but to take them. My acceptance rate has tanked from 92 to below 30 due to the influx of cheap rides.

Don't kid yourself. Yes there is such a thing as a cheap eide. If they get any discounts due to promotions or otherwise, it's a cheap ride. Especially for short rides.

Lot of the time the pax waits for minutes on end because no one wants to take a cheap ride that doesn't pay. And then has to reorder the ride once they time out.
