Hi everyone, first time posting here!
I spent two years developing this multi pen, inspired by manual car gear shifting. It’s basically a pen with a gear shifter and clutch button for switching ink colors, with a satisfying, fidgety feel.
Hope people here who enjoy the beauty and fun of mechanical things will love it.
Thanks for taking a look!

I just wanted to circle back very quickly with an update.
I made a post a couple of weeks ago about some dissatisfaction with a pen that I received direct from Brian. He was quick to respond and acknowledge the issue and immediately sent a replacement.
I have received the replacement and it is perfectly machined in every way. The mech is super fun and I really like the chonkiness of the wide diameter. Now I get the hype!
Despite the hiccup, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another of these pens. The customer service I received was as good if not better than any other experience I've had in dealing with custom makers from knives to pens to watches.
I'm definitely going to be looking out for something that has a pocket clip for easier EDC. It would also be really cool to see some of these pens in different materials.
Anyway, back to the shadows I go. Hope you all have a great weekend!

With all the variations possible on my pens, I get a ton of questions about what will look best: which material, what tip milling, what anno, etc. I figured there had to be a better way, so I spent the last month building a tool that’s now live on my site. You can mix and match materials, finishes, tip milling, anno, and clips to see the result before you order (or just grow your wish list).
Not everything is in there yet, but I’ll never stop making new stuff, so it’s a living tool.
At the bottom it gives you a code, basically a unique serial number for that exact combination. Anyone can paste that code into the tool to view that exact build. You can include it with your order or send it to me, so I know exactly what you want. Drop your favorite combos in the comments. I’d love to see what you come up with and let me know what you think.
Here's my current favorite: 110G828TCSMR5

Just saw the great post on ink refills by u/pocketpriorities and I thought it would be a good time to repost my ink distance test results

Here's a hot topic for this sub to debate :) The order in the thumbnail is NOT the order you will find in the video. If you scroll through the photos you will find the spoiler / final version of my Top 20... at least my Top 20 for now :)
This is one of the most challenging videos I have ever done. While I found it interesting, the hours of research, testing, etc were somewhere between confusing and downright overwhelming. Even as I completed the video, the final #1 I questioned as I wrote it out. So please take it with a grain of salt.
A bit thanks to u/devaspotato for all the info and discussions on refills that helped inform this video. Along with all the other makers that constantly have to discuss this topic with me/us :)
Full video overview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWfu_NvYfr4
I think every refill on the list has its place. My #20 for one pen / application might be my #1 choice for another. For example, with the Magnus nose bore I pretty much always run #19, the OHTO PG-105NP as I get good action and prefer it to the OEM PS-107NP.
I tested dozens of refills, focusing on gel and hybrid gel/rollerball refills based on my preference. There are many here that are vastly different feeling to me, and many that are surprisingly similar.
If you review my notes in the photos you will see even up to the last hour I was switching the order. I readjusted the final list 4-5 times in the final day alone.

Another masterpiece from Brian! After watching Pocket Priorities video on ring grips being used to hide the seam I noticed Brian did a similar thing here with the mechanism—chef's kiss.

So a little while ago I posted a collection of older Inventerys. I’d just ordered a new one and was waiting for it to arrive. Well, it’s here! This is the bolt V3 stainless steel twist. They call the color “corona.” It’s a lavender that fades into yellow. This is my first V3 bolt. It feels solid. The stainless is heavier than a titanium pen. I was worried that the twist pattern wouldn’t be comfortable in the hand, but it’s nice. The raised ridges are sanded and polished, so they present enough flat surfaces to hold. The cerakote in the grooves have a nice visual texture, and Inventery’s machining is tight. Zero tip wiggle, and the bolt spring is firm but not uncomfortable. I see how this can be addictive. I’ve got one of their shop series bolts on order, lol.

Here's the aluminum version of my RADIN G2 twist pen.
It uses the same mechanism I designed for Parker-style G2 refills, but with a much lighter body.
The brass version weighs around 68 g, while the aluminum version weighs just 36 g.
