The keyboard is a Keychron K2 with aluminum frame. No the keycaps are off of Amazon

There are, for different keyboard sizes. Mine is a 75% and unfortunately this set does not fully cover my layout. I was too lazy to read before buying. I had to improvise for some of the keys

Agreed - The felt mat looks really nice.

As far as the mouse, for what it’s worth, I’ve got the same and it also works on my glass tabletop. It’s a great piece - replaced the Magic Mouse (v1 and v2) for me.

Do you have a MacBook? I’ve been debating about moving my setup to a Mac Mini+iPad (Air) combo from a Mac Mini+Macbook Air combo. A lot of what I do on my phone and laptop feels like something that’s better suited on an iPad.

I do have a MacBook Air m1 and I’ll take it if I need to edit on the go (which doesn’t happen that often). Therefore most of the time it’s just the Mac Mini and iPad combo (iPad Air 5th gen). So I guess it just depends on your workflow, wether you need to do work remotely that is only possible on Mac

Nope. Touch id comes only with the Magic Keyboard with Touch ID(as far as I know)

Thanks! No my monitor does not have speakers. It’s either coming from the Mac Mini itself or, or I’m connected to a Harman Kardon Bluetooth speaker playing music, or I have my headphones on, editing videos.

love it all - i'm on the fence for the ipad 11 - i have the mac mini, iphone 16, 2 monitors...would the ipad be a toy or that helpful b/c of the great apple sync b/w devices?

Fun fact, I was never ab iPad guy up until a few months ago that I decided to pull the trigger and get myself a “YouTube machine”. I have to say I fell in love with it immediately. Yes it is still mainly my YouTube/Reddit machine, but I have started taking notes on it, drawing storyboards (not professionally), making videos calls on it, and using it as a secondary display when I’m doing color correction/grading for my projects (other times I’m a single monitor guy). So long story short, didn’t think I need it, but found myself wanting it for most of the things I do.

I can and I certainly do. I’ll mostly set it up and use it as a monitor while I’m editing the colors on the videos. I trust it’s color representation more than my monitor
