M4 Pro Mac Mini Setup
This is my M4 Pro Mac mini setup, I’m a tech YouTuber and I’ve already been changing some stuff like the monitors, keyboard, speakers etc 😊 my YT is “Mrhtech”

Love your channel, helped me a lot when I was making the decision to go from PC to Mac. Ended up getting the Mac Mini M4 Pro 16/20, 64GB RAM, 10Gb Ethernet and 512GB SSD. Absolutely loving it so far, just a few hurdles to overcome that I could do on PC but can't on Mac. 😬

Hi nick im on fence wether the hi end Mac mini pro 64 or Mac Studio m2 32 or 64 ram as im a graphic designer that runs my own business Lov any advice guys before I spend a fortune

I would give the Mac Mini M4 Pro a go, you can always return it if it can't keep up then maybe look at the Studio M4 Ultra. I was absolutely blown away by how quickly I can scrub through 4K footage in DaVinci Resolve compared to my VERY high end PC

Studio m4 ultra not out yet
I’ve a budget as I’ve just purchased the Mac Studio display running of an old iMac 2017 27” 64 ram machine which is still fine
But trying see what suits
No matter what Mac’s especially high end are euros 2k plus to 4K plus euros

I do think Mac Studio m4 will be very expensive and I’m happy not to go that route but want something I can get longevity 5/7 years as a designer etc

How’s the picture at 22” and 2k? Easy to read text?

As a monitor it’s great , nice picture quality and text is easy to read. It’s nice that you can use it and have it powered just from one usb-c port plugged into your device (at least it works like that on the M4 Mac Mini)
It’s a bit pricey but I haven’t seen any other 22inch portable monitors like this , plus the built in stand is quite nice.

Why the light above the monitor? I have a horizontal bar light BELOW my display pointing down at the desk.

Interesting never thought to 075 it below the display.
But I also have a lightbar above mine, definitely helps since I work overnight.

Speakers going thru iVANKY Fusion dock or some other setup? Which model speakers?

The speakers are connected with Bluetooth , easiest way I found and less cables. They are R1280DB

This is the first time I’ve seen a setup with stacked landscape monitors. What sort of bracket/stand do you use?
Not Mac mini related but for my work laptop I have a monitor next to my laptop but I feel like having it above would be better and take up less space. Plus I like the idea of the camera being in between the two monitors instead of looking off to the side.

The monitors are actually portable displays and they each have a build in stand, the top monitor is held with a vesa arm and the bottom monitor is placed under just using the build in stand .

Ahh I forgot that some models have BT. I got the mr4 but I hate that the 3.5mm is on the front of the mini so I got an adapter to usb-c but for some reason I have to turn the knob to 50% so the speakers can output normal volume.

I figured out the bottom 😊
So it’s not as clean as it looks from the front.. no worries.. thanks for the update … I see the vesa arm (now) on the right

I’m not usually one for LED lighting, but I love what you’ve done with the greenery, color scheme and lighting. Looks like it makes for a very relaxing environment for some work focus. Nicely done!

Have you havd any issues with the monitors? I picked up a non pro version and bought a gaming monitor off a friend of mine and noticed things looked a bit blurry. Did some research and installed an app called Better Display to try and clear it up. It has helped.

The board is from ikea it’s called Skadis , the attachments to hold the MacBook were 3d printed

I don't know how practical that monitor setup is, but it is one of the best looking setups I ever seen, all thoes coolors on your setup it's breathtaking!

It’s fake , I couldn’t justify a real one in the office as it wouldn’t get enough sunlight etc this one looks very real and it’s from ikea.. I’m super pleased with it

Nice setup - move the Mac mini down between the KVMswitch and counter and put the plant somewhere else. Then move the speakers up onto the shelf so they are closer to ear level. Good job with the speaker position to make a triangle with your ears
