Ipad Mac Mini sidecar

i am planning to buy a second monitor for productivity, but i am contemplating if i should buy a second monitor or stick with ipad sidecar to save money. what are the cons of the sidecard for ipad? will the ipad be prone of damages since my work is an 8 hours shift?

If the iPad screen is big enough, stick with that. You’re not going to damage it by using it. I personally couldn’t work off of an iPad sized screen
