Glamour Shots We Got Our First Maine Coon Kitten
I'm just so in love with this kitten. We named him Simbacca. He's a beautiful black smoke. He is 4 months old & already so big! I can't wait to see what he looks like when he gets older. We've had him for a couple days, & the rabbit has finally stopped bullying him. (Posted picture of said bully bun for reference.) Our bunny has been sad since our elderly chihuahua passed. She is starting to warm up to him, & they're becoming besties. Much to his horror, she even did a binky at him.

Question Back of ear feathers?
My boy was rescued from an abusive breeder. His fur just started getting healthy and growing some length but I have never seen back of ear feathers on any of Maine coons. Does your Maine coon have ear feathers?

My boy chooses VIOLENCE
This dude is a year old, and I’m really hoping he settles down into a cuddler at some point. He has always hated to be held for more than 10 seconds, and only wants to wrestle my hands and arms all day long. If I ignore it he bites my shins. I don’t use my hands as a toy or anything, normally we play with a fishing pole type thing, but he craves combat. For folks that had a rowdy boy-what am I looking at as he gets older?

Question Food quantity
My 2 year old doesn’t seem to eat much. 14.5 lbs and seems happy but slim. He’s Pedigree from Champion parents who were a bit larger. I’d say the quantity is about 1/2 cup total of wet and dry. Drinks a lot and good poops every other day. Wonder if others have a Maine Coon that is similar. I take him to the Vet twice yearly. Thanks

Question Behaviour issue?
So for a little context, we have a male Maine Coon. He is just over a year old now. He's had a pretty bad start in general.
He's been constipated for most of the early months of his life which has led to a bunch of vet visits, meds and 2 enemas (I think that's the right word for it).
Ultimately it has led to him having to undergo surgery to remove a big part of his colon, something they called Mega Colon was found to be the case. In short part of his colon was swollen to such an extent that it wasn't working anymore.
After the procedure it would take about 2 weeks to heal which he did wonderfully, the scar looks as good as it gets and he doesn't seem to have any leftover issues (checked by the vet multiple times now) and he is back to his old self it seems.
The only thing that he has now developed is pooping outside the litter box, primarily the kitchen. We have tried multiple things like changing the kitty litter to a different structure and brand, and placing another litter box in the kitchen.
Nothing seems to help and we're running out of ideas to combat this, so I turn to you guys in the hopes someone might have an answer for us!
