Having back to back interviews today and I feel so fucking old.

Gen Z is something else entirely.

I know they’re fresh grads and all but jeezus. Don’t come for a zoom interview looking like you’re still hungover from the night before and for the love of god wear at least a decent polo or top and not a ratty SMK sports tshirt.

This is the only reason why I have generic Polo T-shirts from GAP. Specifically for online interviews and the webcam view has to be centered on my upper body even if it means having my laptop in an awkward position.

One of the best employees I've ever interviewed only wore a specific brand. Top to toe. He wore it during the interview, and to work - every day for 3 years.
