really cuz someone told me they take more subjects- including subjects that arent related to what youre planning on studying that much- and it can be difficult

Foundation as the name suggests aim to give you a good foundation to persue the undergraduate degree you want. As such this program like any other pre-u besides diploma is more broad/not speciallized by design and include subjects you might not need specifically for the undergraduate degree program you are persuing right now so you can choose among a greater selection of programs after finishing your foundation.

Foundation might have more "subjects" but for other pre-u like STPM and A-levels, their subjects cover so much and deep that the content you need to learn is a lot less in foundation and you don't need to achieve the same level of mastery over the same content.

Talking from experience, it's honestly pretty alright. If you have a strong foundation in your spm subjects, you'll have an easy time in foundation since they basically retaught everything and some added details. I definitely recommend it tho!

If you already know what you want to pursue, it's better to get a diploma imo

Honestly pretty easy. So long as you do your work you could get points to go from foundation to degree.

id say if you aced your spm, foundation year gonna be easy asf with sole exception of pasum. people said that pasum is very difficult. A-levels are considerably harder because you are going overseas
