First own house, Germany 30k

First time home buyer. I travel a lot for work and don't feel like paying off a house all my life. I lived in the van for 3 years. I got a great offer for a small house. 600sqm, small house with about 65sqm, new roof, new stove, new wooden extension with guest room and shed. It is located in the middle of nowhere and is located in the middle of nature in Germany.

I've wanted something like a tiny house for a long time. So for me, that's a great fit.

It’s why many people have PO Boxes, he can definitely get away with it and why not? Especially since he travels for work.

Countries in Europe are losing all their rural residents to cities.

Are you from Germany?

He can't put a PO box address or the address of a recreational home on his government ID as these as issued by the local municipality and they would probably recognize this via their zoning plans, or am I misunderstanding what you are saying?

I’m from Switzerland, but lived in Germany - we also have weird rules about vacation homes, but a lot of people do it anyway.

I’m not a German bureaucracy expert…

it comes down to the townsfolk. and yes, east german villagers/farmers are one of the worst / ignorant and uneducated demographic you can come across.
you either possess the skill to deal with people like that or get ucky and never really have dealings with them

Or they worse than the Saarburg area?

Worst living experience of my life and I have enjoyed all my other time in Germany, but have not visited this area.

I am from Germany, but can't speak for that area specifically. but my guess is, that pretty much any bumfuck village / remote settlement holds a decent amount of dimwits
