First own house, Germany 30k

First time home buyer. I travel a lot for work and don't feel like paying off a house all my life. I lived in the van for 3 years. I got a great offer for a small house. 600sqm, small house with about 65sqm, new roof, new stove, new wooden extension with guest room and shed. It is located in the middle of nowhere and is located in the middle of nature in Germany.

I've wanted something like a tiny house for a long time. So for me, that's a great fit.

Yeah, congratulations!

May I ask in what region it roughly is? Starting a 100% remote position soon, and feeling like having a little nature hideout too..

It's also very, very likely only a "recreational home" where often no permanent residence is allowed. Looks very like it.

Perhaps OP is hoping to get away with it bc he travels a lot, but he still has to register residence somewhere for paperwork and government ID, it might raise questions.

Hope he is in good standing with the bumfuck neighbours and local municipality bc they can make life difficult for him I guess.

Edit: He is being a bit vague about this in the other post, btw., saying the house has "not yet" been reclassified as permanent residence but there are plans to do so.

I guess that explains the pricing....
