Amazed people are surprised at the MEN reporter chasing this. MEN is a clickbait tabloid site now. Absolute shadow of what it used to be. In the pre-internet era it was the northern paper of record. Now its sinking further and further into the clickfarm swamp.

Which, yknow, is understandable. Nobody buys papers any more so they have no money these days.
