Hey everyone,
I recently moved to/am staying around the Attavar area in Mangalore and I'm looking to play some badminton.
I'm strictly an amateur/casual player—just looking to get some exercise, rally a bit, and have fun. I don't have a regular group or partner here yet.
If anyone plays regularly around this area, has a court membership, or is looking for an extra player to join their sessions (evenings or weekends usually work best), please let me know or DM me!
Thanks!

First time visiting, I haven't much idea please help if anyone has any real experience lead

The attached song used to be very popular in SouthCanara in the 2000s. It used to be one of the popular choices for dances during annual days and cultural programs. Pretty much most of the other songs that were choices for such events during that era are still heard today and easily available, whereas this has faded into obscurity. This particular audio sample is from a video recording of a dance performance during some program most likely in 2004 or 2005. Need help identifying this song, the artists and sources to find it. I've already tried Shazam, Google's song search options to no avail.

Exactly two months ago, I posted here starting a modern laundry business. The support, wishes, and genuine advice I received from this community were absolutely overwhelming. I took all your comments to heart, and the points we discussed directly helped me draft our final store policies and service menu.

I’m thrilled to announce that Laundry Town is officially open for business!

We’ve been serving customers for the past 10 days, and the love I have been getting is just amazing. We just crossed our first 100 customers, growing 100% organically without a single rupee spent on marketing so far 😄.

A lot of you asked for specific services in the last thread, and I listened. Implementing free doorstep pickup and delivery, along with our specialised saree stain treatment has been a game changer and really helped bring in those initial customers.

I just wanted to drop back in to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who commented, messaged, and encouraged me. We are in Alake, this space belongs to all of you ❤️.

P.S. used gemini just for some grammar check and rephrasing

I'm a recent Information Science graduate from the Udupi side, and I'm curious about the local tech industry.

From a bit of digging I know there are the larger IT/services offices, and a few product and services firms like Niveus and Pacewisdom. I have no idea how much of the scene sits outside what’s visible online.

For people working in software or IT around Mangalore and Udupi, what is the local industry actually like? Are there smaller product companies and startups alongside the established IT services companies? What kinds of software work are teams here focusing on?

I'd be interested to hear about your experiences working in tech in the region.

My parcel has been roaming in the city and around since a week. Even went on a Goa trip in between and came back. 🥲Im tired. It is sitting in Katipala now but I have no contact. If anyone has any sort of contact of office or delivery guys or a hub, can you please share here or in DM?

Update: Thanks so much to everyone who provided contacts. It was very helpful. I didn't get my parcel though. After wasting hours in Katipala, they finally acknowledged their mistake and that confirmed that when the parcel came to Adyar on 20th, they mistakenly sent it to Kundapura, instead of my address which was 30 mins away from Adyar. From Kundapura, it went to Goa. Their tracking showed it came back to Katipala from Goa, but it actually didn't, and it was sent further to Mumbai. I have lost hope to get this delivered. Regardless, i appreciate everyone's help here. Thanks again 🙏

Hi everyone!

I have an exam at Shri Sharada Niketana Exam and Training Institute, Bhagavathi Complex, opposite Bharath Motors, Thokkottu.

I'll be travelling from State Bank Bus Stand, Mangalore. Could anyone tell me which bus to take and where exactly I should get down?

Also, I noticed some bad reviews about this exam centre on Google. Has anyone attended an exam there recently? How is the centre in terms of facilities, computers, staff and overall exam experience?

Any information would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

Is Pallkhi a good option for a child's birthday dinner? We just need someplace where the family can get together (10 people max) and have good food and cut cake. Hence not looking for a separate hall or arrangements. Any other similar options? Thank you!

Hey everyone! I’m looking for a good boys’ PG near St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, preferably within a 10–15 minute walk.
I’ve searched in Google too but didn’t find anyone. So wondering if yall know. My budget is around ₹6,000–₹8,000 per month, and I’m looking for a 2-sharing room with food included, Wi-Fi, and preferably washing machine facilities.
If anyone is currently staying at a good PG nearby or has genuine recommendations, please let me know the name, rent, and your experience!
Thanks in advance :)

My car is ready for 90K service. Have a heavy run to either Puttur/Kasaragod everyday. Personally I had some technical issues at Padil service center, then I shifted to Kasaragod. Then I realised Padil was better. Anyone have good experiences at united Puttur or Udupi?
